KING August 1 (suddenly, at home), of Forster Street, Darlington. Paul, aged 57 years. Dearly loved son of Elsie and the late Les, A much loved and missed brother and uncle. Funeral Tuesday, August 10. Would friends please meet 10.15 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium

LARBY Evelyn, widow of Geoffrey, formerly of Castle Hill House, Middleham, N. Yorks. On July 30, 2004, aged 92 years.

LAYBERRY Audrey Jean, wife of the late Bill, of Burn House, Hawes, late of Hawes Post Office, died July 29. The funeral service will take place at St. Maragaret's Church, Hawes, on Thursday, August 5, at 12.00 noon, followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Friends please meet at church.

LEE August 2, of Toft Hill. Joseph Alan, aged 71 years, beloved husband of Eva, a much loved dad of Barry, Janet and Jeffrey, father-in-law to Helen, Dave and Lisa, a fond grandad of Thomas, Bethany, Amanda, Peter, Steven, Claire, Henry and Edward, a dear brother to Audrey, Harry, Michael and Ann. Interment Wednesday August 11 at Etherley Cemetery, following a service in Etherley Methodist Chapel at 11.30 a.m. Friends please meet at chapel. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, may be left at the chapel for the Butterwick Hospice, Bishop Auckland.

LYONS August 1, of 62 Bondisle Way, Stanhope. Elizabeth Victoria, aged 59 years, dearly loved mother and nana. Will friends please meet for service in St. Thomas' Church, Stanhope on Friday, August 6 at 11.00 a.m., followed by private interment.

MADDISON Martha Aged 97 years. Formerly of St. Johns Gardens, Sunnybrow. Died in Epsom Hospital, Surrey on July 31, 2004.

MAHY John Henry On July 29, suddenly at home. John, aged 91 years, of Northallerton. Dearly loved husband of Audrey, loving father of Rosemary, Priscilla and Caroline, father-in-law of David, Trevor and Jim and proud grandfather of Catherine, Helen, Gordon and Heather. Private woodland burial.

MANGNALL Hilda, aged 88 years, of Richmond, died peacefully at Maple Lodge Nursing Home, Scotton, on August 1. Dearly loved wife of Arthur, much loved mum of Christine and loving nana to Andrew and Joanne. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Friday, August 6 at 11.15 a.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium. No flowers by request. Donations, if desired, may be given at the crematorium for the Alzheimer's Society.

Richard (Dick), aged 78 years, dearly loved husband of Joan, much loved dad of Barrie and the late Keith, a dear father-in-law of Fliss, Kathryn and Martin, a devoted grandad of Christopher, Daniel, Anna, Julia and Jonathon, a loved brother of Mary and the late Grace, also a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Service to be held in the Village Methodist Church, at 1.45 p.m., on Friday, followed by cremation at Durham. Would friends please meet at church.
