PAYNE Leslie, died suddenly but peacefully at home in Barnard Castle on Tuesday, August 17. Husband of dear beloved late Jeannette. Well known to all and sadly missed. Friends and family meet at Barnard Castle Methodist Church on Tuesday, August 24 at 10.15 a.m., family only at the crematorium. Verna, aged 65 years, beloved wife of the late Alan, devoted mam of Kim, Mandy and Mark, treasured daughter of Jenny and the late Arthur King, dear partner of Dave, a much loved and loving grandma and great-grandma, also dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Will friends please meet for service in St. Mary's Church, Howden-le-Wear at 2.30 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. John Alfred (Jack), aged 78 years, beloved husband of Brenda (Bunty), much loved dad of Joan, dear father-in-law to John, loving granda to Paul, Stuart, Janette and Michelle, great-granda of Tyler, also dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25. No flowers by request. Wife of John, much loved mother of Trevor, Zaundrai and Susan and sister Barbara, dearly loved mother-in-law of Christine and Ian, also dearly loved by Vic. STEVENSON Ida Aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late George, a loving mother to Janet and Robert, a loved and respected mother-in-law of Geoff and Angela, nana of Damian and great-nana of Abigail and Gabriel, sister of the late Marian Jagger, died in hospital in Essex.
