Service to be held at St. James' Church, Albert Hill on Thursday July 15, at 11.00 a.m. thereafter to West Cemetery, Carmel Road. No flowers please. Donations to St. Teresa's Hospice, The Woodlands, Woodland Road, Darlington. DL3 7UA.

TYAS Vic On July 12, at Harrogate Hospital, of Little Thirkleby. Loving husband of Doreen, dearly loved father of Philippa and Chris, a dear father-in-law of Steve and Helen, also a very much loved grandpa of Gregory, Jessica, Matthew, Michael and Rebecca. Service at All Saints' Church, Thirkleby, on Tuesday, July 20, at 1.30 p.m., followed by cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be left in church for Church Funds.

WAITE Ernest Frederick (Ernie), aged 88 years, of Catterick Village, died peacefully in hospital on July 10. Dearly loved husband of Norah, much loved dad of Kenneth, Brian and Michael, a dear father-in-law and loving grandad and great-grandad. WRIGHT Iris, aged 97 years, formerly of Watson Court, Barnard Castle, died peacefully at Whorlton Grange Nursing Home, on July 10. Beloved twin sister to the late Ivy Wright, eldest daughter of the late Joseph and Annie Wright (Thorngate Wynd), dear sister to Anne, Gladys, Nellie and the late Elsie, Emily and Joseph and a much loved aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt. Funeral service at St. Mary's Parish Church, Barnard Castle on Friday, July 16, at 12.45 p.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church.
