COX June 26, suddenly at home, Dewsbury, Yorkshire, formerly of Bishop Auckland. Brian Phillip, aged 42 years, beloved son of Violet and Norman, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Cortege to leave his parents' residence, 19 Hilton Road, Bishop Auckland, at 10.30 a.m. on Monday, July 5. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 11.00 a.m.

CRAGGS Thomas (Tom) aged 79 years of Mickleton, died peacefully in hospital on June 22. Beloved son of the late Robert and Emma Craggs, dearest brother to Edith, Stan, Rene and Ivy and a dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday July 1, at 1.45 p.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium chapel.

DIXON On June 30, peacefully in the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton, of Leyburn and previously Swaledale. Philip, aged 83 years, D.S.C., M.A. (former Headmaster of Berwick-upon-Tweed Grammar School and Appleby Grammar School). Beloved husband of Pat, loving father of Sally, Robert and Andrew and a dear grandpa. Funeral service at St. Andrew's Church, Grinton in Swaledale on Tuesday, July 6 at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment at Grinton Cemetery.

DOBINSON Norman aged 75 years of Barnard Castle, died peacefully at home on June 25. Much loved husband of June, precious to all his family and a very special grandad. Funeral service at St. Mary's Parish Church, Barnard Castle on Friday July 2, at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the church.
