Marion, the devoted daughter of Betty and the late Albert, a loving sister of Ann and sister-in-law of Malcolm, also a loving aunt of Hazel, Fiona and Andrew. Marion will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. Friends please meet at Durham Crematorium on Tuesday, September 7 at 1.00 p.m., for service prior to cremation.

TERRANS August 31 (peacefully in hospital), of Bank Top Terrace, Trimdon Village. James, aged 71 years, beloved son of the late Margaret and George William, O.B.E., (Mick), dearly loved brother of Henry, Eleanor and George, dearest brother-in-law and a much loved uncle. Cortege leaving residence, Tuesday at 10.20 a.m. Friends please meet at St. Mary Magdalene Church for service at 10.30 a.m., followed by interment at Trimdon Grange Cemetery.

THOMPSON A service will be held on Saturday, September 4 at St. Oswald's Church, Askrigg at 2.30 p.m. to celebrate the life of Patsy.

TURNER August 28, of Newhouse Avenue, Esh Winning. Henry, aged 82 years. Would friends and family please meet for Requiem Mass in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs R.C. Church, Esh Winning on Tuesday, September 7, at 10.00 a.m. followed by interment in Newhouse Cemetery. On whose Soul sweet Jesus have mercy R.I.P.

William Dennis, aged 88 years, the beloved husband of the late Evelyn, a much loved father of Christine and the late Kenneth and also a dear brother, grandad and great-grandad. Service and interment 2.00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7 2.00 p.m. at St. Paul's Church, Healey. Family flowers only please, but donations may be left in Church for the Church Restoration Fund.

WAKE September 2 (suddenly at home), of Pepper Arden. Eric William (Mick), aged 77 years, dearly loved husband of the late Sheila, dear father of Bryan and Anthea and a much loved grandad and great-grandad. Service at All Saints' Church, East Cowton at 2.45 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, followed by cremation at Darlington West Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

WAKEFIELD August 30 (peacefully at home, after a short illness). David Ross, aged 62 years, much loved husband of Margaret, loving dad to Ian and Jill, devoted gramps of Jamie, Christopher, Jemma, Matthew and Tristen. Funeral Tuesday, September 7. WALSH Bertie, aged 71 years, of Priory Villas, Richmond, died peacefully at home on August 26, after an illness bravely borne. Dearly loved husband of Anthea, much loved dad of Amy and Daniel and dear father-in-law to Iain. Beloved husband of the late Lydia, dearest dad of Gary, Robert and Lorraine, dearly loved father-in-law of Christine and Sue, much loved granda of Claire, Gemma, Victoria, Shaun, Taryn, Dwayne, Chantelle and Conor and also a dear great-granda of Regan.
