Hilda, dearly beloved wife of the late Laurence Alexander, devoted mother of the late Peter, mother-in-law of Susan and a much loved grandmother to Elizabeth and Catherine. Cremation Thursday, October 14 at 1.45 p.m. at Darlington Crema-torium. Family flowers only, by request. William Raine (Bill), aged 64 years, beloved husband of Margaret, loving dad of Jackie and a much loved granda of Jamie, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Interment Thursday, October 21 in Witton Park Cemetery, following a service in Woodhouse Close Church, Bishop Auckland at 1.20 p.m. Friends please meet at church. Family flowers only please. Marjorie Patricia, aged 61 years, beloved wife of the late John, much loved mother of Paul, Stephen, Diane, John, Caroline and Peter, a dear mother-in-law of Diane, Karen, Hayley and Michael and a precious grandma of Thomas and Kain. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday, October 20 at 11.00 a.m.

HAINES October 13 (peacefully, in hospital). Doris Emily (nee Barker), aged 84 years, of Darlington. Beloved wife of Frank, loving mother of Barry, David and the late Billy, a dear mother-in-law, also a much loved nana and great nana. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, October 19, at Darlington Crematorium at 10.45 a.m. Friends invited please meet at the crematorium chapel.

HAMBLIN Brother Basil Hamblin O.H., aged 75 years, of Scorton, Solemn Professed 51 years, died peacefully on October 10. To be received into St. Augustine's R.C. Church, Darlington on Tuesday, October 12 at 7.45 p.m. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, October 13 at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment in the St. John of God Cemetery, Scorton. Requiescat in Pace

HARRISON Elizabeth (Bessie), aged 81 years, of Darlington. Died peacefully on October 11. Beloved mother of Veronica, Tim, Rosemary, Maria and Keith, also a dear grandmother and great-mother. John, aged 54 years, beloved husband of Linda, loving father of Caroline, Barry, David and Katie, a dear brother, father-in-law and grandad. Laurence (Laurie), dear husband of Mary Josephine Hunter and dear dad of Kathryn, Ian, Richard and the late Alison, a dear father-in-law and loving grandad.
