Dearly beloved husband of Marjorie, much loved dad of Anita, Christopher, Sylvia and David, loved father-in-law of Sweeny, Lesley, Chris and Susanne and a loving grandad to Michala, Claire, Andrew, Jack, Dean, James, Jenessa and Olivia, also special friend to many. Service will take place on Monday October 18, at Pudsey St Lawrence Church, Church Lane, Pudsey, Leeds, commencing 2.00 p.m. prior to committal service at Rawdon Crematorium commencing at 3.00 p.m. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the church. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu if so desired can be given at the church in aid of, The Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service Charity. MAYSON Nancy passed away on October 9 at The Lodge Nursing Home, Cleathorpes (formerly of Front Street, Sowerby, Thirsk), aged 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Bernard, a much loved sister, aunt and great-aunt. The funeral service will be held at Sowerby Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 19, at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment. Would friends please meet at the church.

McELWEE October 11, formerly of Esh Winning. Sheila, aged 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Michael and a much loved mother, mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Will friends please meet for Requiem Mass in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Esh Winning on Friday October 15, at 10.00 a.m. followed by interment in Parkwood Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers may be given after the service for Holmdale Earls House. On whose Soul sweet Jesus have mercy R.I.P.

McGREGOR October 7 (suddenly), of McCullogh Gardens, Bishop Auckland. John Thomas (John Mac), aged 61 years, devoted husband of Joan, a much loved and loving dad, father-in-law and grandad, also a dear brother , brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Bishop; Auckland at 1.00 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, followed by interment at Witton Park. All are invited for refreshments in The Rose and Crown, Witton Park, after this service.

METCALFE The funeral of the late Robert Metcalfe, Flat 14, Little Ings, Hawes. Will take place at Gayle Methodist Church at 1.30 p.m. on Thursday October 14, followed by interment at Hawes Methodist Cemetery. Donations if desired for, Gayle Church. Friends please meet at church.

MEZZO On October 8, of New Brancepeth. Elizabeth (Lillie), aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late Leo and will be sadly missed by Tony and Flo, Renee and Clive, Philip and Marie and their families. MITCHELL October 10 (peacefully), of Frosterley. Hannah (nee Ridley), aged 98 years, loving wife of the late Tom, dearly loved mother of Jean, Harry and the late William, dear mother-in-law of Maurice and Jean, dearest grandmother of Hazel and Paul, also a much loved great-grandmother. Friends please meet for service in Frosterley Methodist Chapel on Monday, October 18 at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment in Frosterley Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, may be left at the chapel for chapel funds.

MORGAN (Framwellgate Moor) Suddenly, on September 28, aged 49 years. Terry, a loving son of Jenny and the late Jack and a much loved brother of Dennis and Ian, also a loved brother-in-law of Lynda. OYSTON October 8 (peacefully, in hospital), of Framwellgate Moor, formerly of Lanchester. Betty (nee Armstrong), aged 73 years, a loving mam of Elizabeth and Philip, devoted grandma to Catherine, Hannah and Amy, also a loved sister of Ethel and a dear friend to all. A wonderful lady who will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. Friends please meet for service in Lanchester Methodist Chapel on Wednesday, October 13 at 1.00 p.m., prior to cremation in Durham Crematorium at 2.00 p.m.

PEACOCK Suddenly, on October 12, of 7a Kingsway, Langley Park. Reg, aged 88 years, beloved husband of the late Margaret, a much loved dad of Brenda, Wendy, Margaret and the late Joan, a much loved father-in-law, granda and great-granda. Would friends please meet for service and committal at Durham Crematorium on Thursday, October 21 at 12.00 noon. Family flowers only please. Beloved wife of the late William Terence, a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. RIDLEY October 10, peacefully in hospital, formerly of Yarm Road, Darlington. Jack, aged 83 years, departed to join his late wife Irene. His passing was marked by the attendance of his sons John and David and daughter Christine and their respective spouses Sandra, Caroline and Richard. He will be sorely missed also by his grandchildren Andrew, Claire and young Samuel. Funeral Monday, October 18. Would friends please meet 11.15 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium. The family wish to extend their thanks and appreciation to the Memorial Hospital staff and also to Jack's close circle of friends for their support during his period of illness.

ROBERTS October 12 (peacefully), of Crook. Janet (nee Longstaff), aged 82 years, loving wife of the late Jackson, dearly loved mother of Geoff and Doreen, also a much loved grandmother. ROBINSON Anthony (Tony) On October 6, 2004. Peacefully at Thames Valley Hospice, Windsor, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Wendy and a much loved father, father-in-law, grankie, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A funeral service and celebration of his life will be held at Slough Crematorium on Friday October 22, at 1.00 p.m. His ashes will be scattered at Darlington Garden of Remembrance on Friday, October 29, at 1.45 p.m. Family and friends welcome. A private family service, followed by cremation, will take place at Durham Crematorium on Thursday, October 14 at 10.30 a.m., following this a memorial service to celebrate the life of Dorothy will be held in Barnard Castle Methodist Church at 1.00 p.m. The family welcome all friends to this service.
