Husband of Cath, dearly loved father of Joanne, Christine and Robert, grandfather of Stephanie, a much loved son of Ann and John Robert and a dear brother of Billy, Stephen, Wes and Russell. Friends please meet for service in St. Luke's Church on Wednesday, November 3, at 11.15 a.m. followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Friends welcome at Ushaw Moor Catholic Club afterwards

HALL Joyce Peace (nee Bell) On October 25, peacefully in Chestnut Lodge, Stockton, formerly of Barnard Castle and High Etherley, Bishop Auckland. Joyce, aged 85 years, beloved wife of the late Fred, dear sister of Sylvia, a much loved aunt of Susan, Sandra, Carol and Diane. Will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by Mike, Liz and family. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Darlington Crematorium Chapel on Monday, November 1 at 2.15 p.m. Friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel.

HANSEN On October 27 (peacefully in the Friary Hospital, Richmond, her loved ones with her), of Greystones, Grinton, near Reeth. Mary, dearly loved wife of Hans, very dear mother of Katrine and loving grandma of Tarot. Funeral service to be held at St. Andrew's Church, Grinton, on Wednesday, November 3 at 1.00 p.m., followed by interment at Grinton Cemetery. Winifred Hannah (Winnie), formerly of St. Johns Crescent, Stainton and Etherley Grange, Bishop Auckland, beloved wife of the late Ted, dearly loved mother of the late Valerie and mother-in-law of Jack. Aged 90 years. Service at St. Andrew's Church, Dacre on Friday, November 5 at 1.30 p.m., followed by cremation at Carlisle Crematorium. Family flowers only, but if desired, donations for the Air Ambulance GNAAS may be made at the service or sent c/o John Richardson and Son, Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith, Cumbria. CA11 8HR.

HILL Bryan Former Lecturer in Cookery at Blackpool and The Fylde College. (Courtfield). passed away in Victoria Hospital, Blackpool on Sunday October 24, 2004, aged 82 years. The loving brother of the late Desmond (Northallerton) and Roland. Service and cremation to be held at Carleton Crematorium on Friday November 5, at 12.30 p.m. No flowers by request. Ann (nee Martha Annie Smiles), aged 87 years, dearly loved wife of Wilf, loving mother of Margaret and the late John and Philip, much loved grandmother of Julie, Alex, Garry, Anna and Peter, great grandmother of Tanya, Ben, Jon, Emily and Noah and mother-in-law of Mavis and Joe. Will friends please meet for service in St. Michael and All Angels' Church, Frosterley on Monday, November 1 at 2.30 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. HYND October 15, suddenly in Abu Dhabi, of Darlington, formerly of Aysgarth. Dr. Neil F.G. Hynd, aged 58 years, beloved husband of Stephenie, dearly loved father of Jennie and Carrie and loving grampie of Hayley. Funeral service and cremation took place at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday, October 28. Donations in memory of Neil may be sent for St. Teresa's Hospice, The Woodlands, Woodland Road, Darlington, DL3 7UA.

Neil, known as Slasher, aged 32 years, of Hedley Close, Newton Aycliffe, a much loved boyfriend to Julie, devoted daddy to Arran, Damian and Star, also a loving brother to Clive. KELL October 25 (suddenly but peacefully), of Victoria Lane, Coundon. Gladys, aged 88 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Thomas, a much loved and loving aunt of Tony and Rhiain and Denise and Ronnie. Cortege leaving residence, Wednesday November 3, at 11.50 a.m. for a service in James' Church, Coundon at 12.00 noon to be followed by cremation at Durham. Friends please meet at church.

LEWIS October 25, suddenly in hospital, formerly of Tennyson Gardens, Darlington. Mary, aged 79 years, beloved wife of the late Johnny, much loved mother of Isabelle and the late Colin, dear mother-in-law of Tony and Lorraine, loving nanna of Craig, Debby, Steven and a great-nanna. Funeral Tuesday. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 1.15 p.m.

McCABE October 24. Eleanor (Nellie), late of Geneva Road, Darlington. Dearly beloved mam of John and Margaret, mam-in-law of Eileen and Billy, loving nana and great-nana. Funeral Tuesday, November 2. McCART October 8 (peacefully, at home, after a long fight with cancer), of Shildon, (formerly of Newcastle). Gerald, much loved and will be sadly missed by friends and neighbours. NORTON October 25, after a long illness borne with dignity. James, aged 82 years, of Crook, devoted husband of Joan, beloved brother of June and Charles, also a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in St. Catherine's Church, Crook at 12.00 noon on Monday, November 1, followed by interment in Shildon Cemetery.

OERTEL The funeral service of the late Betsy Oertel, 13 Jasmine Court, Gayle, Hawes, will take place on Monday, November 1 at 11.15 a.m., at Darlington Crematorium. Friends please meet at the Crematorium.

Agnes Mary (Aggie), aged 90 years, beloved wife of the late Thomas William, much loved mother of Noreen, Joseph and June, mother-in-law of Pauline, John and Noel and a loving grandma, gran and special great-gran and grandma. Funeral service Thursday, St. Andrew's Methodist Church at 10.45 a.m., prior to cremation. Friends please meet at church. Allan Richard, dearly loved husband of the late Pat, loving father of Jane and Carol and a dear father-in-law and dearest grandad to Beth, John and Amina. Funeral service and cremation to be held in St. Bede,s Chapel Teesside Crematorium 10.30 a.m. Monday November 1.

PARKER Doris, aged 97 years. Died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by love on Tuesday October 19, at Cheveley House, Durham. A dearly loved mother, gran and great-gran. She is now reunited with her husband Sydney and beloved son John. Her funeral will be held at North Road Methodist Chapel, Durham at 2.45 p.m. on Friday, October 29. Donations in lieu of flowers to, North Road Methodist Chapel. God saw you getting weary, He knew you'd had your share, He put his arms around you and took you in his care. God Bless
