He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. Funeral Thursday, November 4. Would friends kindly meet for service in All Saints' Church, Ravensdale Road, at 1.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. Floral tributes, if so desired, may be sent to Seaton Leng and Son Ltd., 59a Bondgate, Darlington.

THOMAS On October 29, at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Catterick Garrison (formerly of Lowthorpe, East Witton). David, aged 84 years. Funeral service and interment at St. John's Church, East Witton on Monday, November 8 at 11.00 a.m. Friends please meet at the church.

THOMAS The Reverend Ralph Of Bedale, died October 31 peacefully in hospital, aged 81 years. Loving husband of Norma and father of Sophie, Jamie and Robert, also a devoted grandad. Funeral service to be held at St. Michael's Church, Kirklington on Friday, November 5 at 1.00 p.m., followed by private cremation. No flowers by request.

THOMPSON Emily (nee Barr), aged 88 years, of Colburn, died peacefully in hospital on November 1, beloved wife of the late Percy, much loved mum of Maureen, Brenda and William, dear mother-in-law of Kevin, David and Julie, a loving grandma and great-granny and a dearly loved sister. Funeral service at Colburn Methodist Church on Tuesday, November 9 at 1.15 p.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. No black please at Emily's request.

Frederick, aged 97 years, beloved husband of Mary, dearly loved father of Derrick, Philip, Andreena and the late Kenneth, father-in-law of Sheila, also a loving grandad of Mark and Sharon and great-grandad of Ewan, Carn and Niall. WOOD October 28, suddenly but peacefully, formerly of Haughton Road, Darlington. Fred, aged 89 years, husband of the late Winnie, father of David, Laurence and Jane, father-in-law of Pat and Clare and a dear grandad and brother. To be received into St. William's Church, Albert Hill on Thursday, at 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass, Friday at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment at North Cemetery. Friends please meet at church.

WRIGHT October 29 (peacefully at Richmond Court, Willington), of Ferryhill. Alan, aged 72 years. A loving husband of May, a beloved father of Julie, Colin, and Janet. A much loved father-in-law, grandfather and brother. Funeral Thursday. Will friends please meet at 1.15 p.m. for service in Ferryhill Methodist Church followed by cremation at Durham.

ARKLESS Sarah Jane, 'Jenny', nee Wilson fell asleep peacefully on November 11, 2004, aged 96 years, loving and devoted wife to the late Sid, a loving mother to Nancy and Adeline and a loving mother-in-law to Harry and Dick, devoted grandma to Colin, Debra and Diane, loving great-grandma to William, Joseph and Rhiannon, Eve, Natasha, Danelle and Hannah. She will missed terribly. Peace after pain. Would friends please meet for service at St. Mary's Church, Coxhoe at 12.15 p.m., on Thursday, November 18, followed by cremation at Durham.
