Iris, aged 74 years, treasured wife of Gordon, devoted mam of Pat, David and Susan, dearly loved grandma of Anthony and much loved mother-in-law of Barry and Nick. Friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church, Waterhouses on Thursday, December 2 at 2.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. James (Jim), aged 84 years, a much loved dad of Raymond, a dear partner of May, a dearly loved granda of Amanda and Marcus and great-granda of Shana also a very dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium, Friday for a service and committal at 9.30 a.m.

FERGUSON Durham Dorothy Elizabeth (nee Bates), died peacefully at home after a long illness, on December 1, 2004. Would friends please meet for service at St. Cuthbert's Church, North Road, Durham Tuesday, December 7 at 12.45 p.m. Cremation at Durham to follow. No flow ers by request but don ations may be given to a charity of your choice.

FORSTER November 29 (suddenly, at home), of Rudds Hill, Ferryhill Station. Gordon, aged 74 years. A much loved father, father-in-law, grand-father and great-grandfather, also a dear brother of John. Service in St. Luke's Church, Ferryhill at 11.00 a.m. on Monday December 6, followed by interment in Duncombe Cemetery. Family please meet at Rudds Hill. Friends please meet at church.

FOX Died November 30, peacefully in Beechwood Nursing Home. Joe, aged 83 years, of Thornton Watlass, a dearly loved husband of Betty, dear father and father-in-law of Jo, Mick, Michael and Margaret and loving grandad of Matthew, William, Chris and Jenny. Funeral service to be held at St. Mary's Church, Thornton Watlass on Tuesday, December 7 at 2.00 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, for the R.S.P.C.A.

GEORGE November 28 (peacefully in hospital), of Earl Keelan House, Darlington. Flo, aged 96 years, loving mum to Adrian and Paul. Will be sadly missed by all the family. Funeral Monday, December 6. Ken, aged 61 years, beloved husband of Aileen, a loving dad, a special grandad, a much loved son of Freda and the late Eric, a loving step-son of Rudi and a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Would friends please meet in St. Luke's Church, Tuesday for a service at 1.15 p.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium.

HALL (Coxhoe) After a long illness bravely borne and with her family at her side, peacefully on November 30. Maureen, a very loved wife of Mel, devoted mam of Stephen, Kevin and Rodney, also a much loved grandma of Danielle, Charlotte, Ryan, Abigail and Adam, will be sadly missed by all her loving family and many friends. With tears we watched you sinking, we saw you fade away. And though our hearts were breaking, we knew you could not stay. So those of you who have a mother, love her while you may.
