TAYLOR December 1 (peacefully in hospital), of Wareham Way, Sunnybrow. Jean, aged 69 years, dearly loved wife of Jack, much loved mam of David, Brian, Kevin and Julie, dear mother-in-law of Sheila, Linda, Ann and Alan and a devoted nanna. A private cremation will be held on Wednesday.

THOMPSON Joyce Suddenly in hospital on November 28, (former Mayor of Peterlee), of 23 Tees Close, Peterlee. Joyce, aged 75 years. Dearest sister of Bec, beloved aunty of George, Gillian, Linda, Frank, Ian and Vera, dearest sister-in-law of Blanche, a dearest great-aunty of all her nieces and nephews and also a great friend to all. Cremation Sunderland Crematorium Tuesday December 7. Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service at St. Cuthbert's Church, Peterlee at 11.00 a.m. Private from church.

THORNTON Carroline Billingham On November 25, at home. Carroline (nee Headley), aged 55 years, dearly loved mam of Craig, Joanne, Philip, Lizi and the late Angela, loving grandma of Emma, Sian, Joshua Edward, devoted daughter of the late Ted and Rachel and very dear sister of Julia. Funeral service of Thanksgiving at St. Hilda's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium, Acklam Road, Middlesbrough, Thursday 1.15 p.m. Friends and neighbours please meet at the crematorium chapel. VICKERS Marjorie (nee Ohlson), aged 62 years, of Middleton Tyas, died suddenly at home on November 28. Dearly loved wife of John, a much loved mother and grandma, dear daughter of Ella Ohlson and sister to Adrienne. Joyce, aged 57 years of Bethany House, Newton Aycliffe (formerly of Chilton), beloved daughter of the late Mary and Charlie Wayman, also a much loved sister and aunt who will be sadly missed. WEYAND (Gateshead, formerly of Milton Keynes). Died in St. Oswald's Hospice on December 1, 2004. Jason, dear son of Marsha and Robert. After a most courageous stand for four years against tongue based cancer. Simple service at Saltwell Crematorium on Monday, December 6 at 12.00 noon. No flowers by request. Special thanks to the brilliant staff at Freeman Hospital (Ward 10), Newcastle General, RVI Hospital, Marie Curie Hospice, Macmillan Nurses and St. Oswald's Hospice. Comfort in knowing you are at peace in "the spirit world".

WILSON (Witton Gilbert) Peacefully, in hospital on November 30, aged 68 years, June. A loving sister of Peggy and a much loved aunt.
