Cortege to leave her son's residence at 10.05 a.m. on Friday, December 10 for service in St. Andrew's Church at 10.15 a.m., followed by interment in Bishop Auckland Town Cemetery. Will friends please meet at church.

SAVERY Violet May (formerly Place, nee Ward). In hospital, aged 74 years. Funeral at St. Hilda's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium, 2.15 p.m., Tuesday, December 14.

SCALLY (nee MacDonald) Taken suddenly on December 8, 2004. Alison, loving wife of Allan, loving mother of Craig, Faye, Claire and Dawn. Funeral service to be held at St. Gregory's Church, Bedale at 12.00 noon on Thursday, December 16, 2004, followed by private cremation.

SCOTT Darlington December 4 (suddenly but peacefully), of Vine Street. Ella (nee Doe), aged 75 years, dearly loved wife of Alex, sister to Charlie and a dearly loved mum and nan. Beloved wife of the late Jack, much loved mum of Trevor, Gerald, Kevin and Colin, dear mother-in-law to Ellen, Evelyn, Bertha and the late Janet, a loving grandma and very dear sister to Enid and Lilian. Funeral service at Cockfield Methodist Chapel on Thursday, December 16 at 1.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Darlington. Friends please meet at the chapel.

Keith, aged 60 years, a loving dad of Helen, Peter, Steven and Michael, a dearly loved brother of Joan and Margaret and a dear grandad, brother-in-law and uncle. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium, Wednesday for a service and committal at 11.00 a.m.

STACEY On December 8, suddenly in hospital. Edward, aged 88 years, of Darlington. Dearly loved brother of Mollie, a much loved uncle and great-uncle. Requiem Mass on Thursday, December 16 at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church, North Road at 10.30 a.m. Friends invited, please meet at the church, followed by private interment at North Road Cemetery. Robert Edward (Bob), aged 78 years, dearly loved husband of Kathleen, loving father of Yvonne and Maurice and father-in-law of Martin and a much loved grandad of Heather and Holly. A committal service in Durham Crematorium on Monday, December 20 at 1.00 p.m., will be followed by a Memorial Service in St. Thomas' Church, Stanhope at 2.00 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the British Heart Foundation, plate in church.

APPLEBY Joyce (nee Merry), aged 82 years, formerly of The Bungalow, Scotch Corner, died peacefully on December 13, beloved wife of the late Arthur, much loved mum of Anita and loving grandma of Maria. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, December 20 at 3.15 p.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium chapel. ASPEY December 13, in hospital after a short illness. David Jeffrey, aged 60 years, of Newfield, reunited with his beloved wife, Hilda after 8 months. Dearly loved dad of Bridget, the late David and Caroline, also a much loved and loving granda of Jordan. Will friends please meet for service in St. John's Church, Shildon at 12.00 noon on Tuesday, December 21, followed by interment in Shildon Cemetery. Time cannot heal the heartache, or stop the falling tears, or take away the memories of the one I loved so dear.
