BOWES December 22 (at Parklands Residential Home, Crook), of West View, Crook. Margaret, aged 91 years, dearly loved wife of the late Thomas, devoted mother of the late Anne and mother-in-law to Ken, a dearly loved nana of Anthony and his partner Janette. Interment, Friday December 31, in Crook Cemetery following a service in St. Catherine's Church, Crook at 1.00 p.m. Friends please meet at church.

BROUGHTON Ernest On December 22, in Friarage Hospital, Northallerton. Ernest, aged 85 years. Funeral service to be held at Darlington Crematorium on Friday, December 31 at 11.45 a.m.

BROWN Kathleen, wife of the late Andrew Brown, mother of Nicholas, much loved grandmother and great-grandmother died peacefully in hospital, on Monday, December 20. Requiem Mass to take place in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Norton on Friday, January 7 at 1.30 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the John Paul Centre or the Carmelite Friars, c/o Crake and Mallon Funeral Service, 45 Norton Road, Stockton.

BROWN Wilf On December 28, in hospital after a long illness. Wilf, aged 77 years, of Billingham (formerly of Consett), dearly loved husband of Melvena, much loved dad of Stephen and Margaret, dear father-in-law of Alison and Colin, dearly loved grandad of Ellie and Jamie. Service in North Billingham Methodist Church, Marsh House Avenue, Billingham on Wednesday January 5, at 3.00 p.m. prior to cremation at Teesside Crematorium. Friends please meet at church.

BUCHAN On December 29 (of Darlington). Jerrold Colin Mackenzie (Jerry), aged 70 years, beloved husband of Marina, also a loving brother of Ralph. Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 10 at 10.30 a.m., at St. Mark's Church, prior to cremation at Darlington Crematorium.

Brian, aged 63 years, of Hardwick, Stockton (formerly of Newton Aycliffe), special dad of Tracy, Sharon and Christine, father-in-law of Derek and Paul, loving grandad of Daniel, Mark, Terri and Rebecca, also a devoted brother of Kathleen, Peter and Brenda. CLARK December 29 (suddenly at home), of Dale Road, Barnard Castle. Clifford (Cliff), aged 70 years, dearly loved husband of Ruth, much loved father and grandad. Sadly missed by all family and friends. Would friends please meet for funeral service at Barnard Castle Methodist Church on Tuesday, January 11 at 9.45 a.m., followed by private cremation at Darlington. Family flowers only please. CLARKSON Tracey Ann (nee Dawson), aged 41 years, of Romanby, died peacefully on December 27, 2004, in hospital, after a long illness borne with great courage, determination and dignity. Wonderful and caring wife to Clive, loving mother to Sarah and Amy, dear daughter of Jean and the late Peter, special sister to Helen and a much loved sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Would all please meet for service in St. Mary's Church, Kirkby Fleetham on Wednesday, January 5 at 2.00 p.m., followed by cremation. Flowers, or donations welcome in lieu, for the Mowbray Suite, Friarage Hospital, may be left in church on the plate provided.

COATES December 23, of Burnie Gardens, Shildon. Thomas, aged 85 years, dearly beloved husband of the late Sheila, a loving dad of Joe, Chris, Soo and David, a dear grandad of Tony, Angela, Amy and Ian and great-grandad of Isabel and Louise. Cremation Tuesday, January 4 at Darlington, following a service in the Methodist Chapel, Shildon at 12.25 p.m. Friends please meet at chapel.

COUCH December 25 (suddenly in hospital), of Ann's Terrace, Darlington. Sheena, aged 39 years, dearly loved daughter of Eddie and Mary, much loved sister of Tracy and Rodney, also loving aunt of Wayne, Mark, Stacy and Haylay. Funeral Thursday, January 6. Will friends please meet for service and cremation 10.45 a.m., at Darlington Crematorium. Ashley Robinson (Ash), aged 90 years, beloved husband of the late Doris and the late Vera, loving dad of Roy and the late John and father-in-law of Evelyn, a much loved grandad of Carolyn and Katherine and also a great-grandad. EVANS Hubert, aged 81 years, of 6 Alma Place, Richmond, formerly of The Angel Inn, Gilling West, died peacefully at Morris Grange Nursing Home on December 30. Dearly loved and very devoted husband of Ros and a much loved dad, father-in-law and grandad.
