Emily (nee Hall), aged 90 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Frank, adored mother of Pat and son-in-law Angus, darling grandmother of Kay, Tim, Jim and Sue, dearest great grandmother of Nathan, Emily, Thomas, James, Kirsten, Curtis and Natalia, a much loved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and a very dear friend to many who will be deeply and sadly missed by all. Please meet for service at St. Edmund's Church, Bearpark on Thursday, January 13 at 12.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only by request. John Thomas, aged 75 years, beloved husband of the late Mary, much loved partner of Elizabeth Metcalfe, dearly loved father of Christine, Eileen, Gillian, Garry, Paula, Donna and the late Trevor and a very dear father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service at Leyburn Methodist Church on Monday, January 17 at 12.00 noon, followed by interment at Leyburn Cemetery. Family flowers only please. A dearly loved mam of Mervyn, Michael and Elizabeth, a much loved nana of Joanne, Louise, Andrew, Mark and Steven and a loving great-grandma. For many years a nurse at St. Margaret's, Durham and later for nine years a Marie Curie nurse. BOWATER (nee Johnson). Kathleen. passed away very peacefully on New Years Day, 2005 after a long difficult illness.
