Margaret (nee Rycroft), aged 94 years, cherished wife to the late Ralph, dearly beloved mother of Pat and Anne and a much loved mother-in-law to Jack and Graeme, a dearly loved nanna to Beverley, Julie, Michael and Tom and great-nanna to Jennifer. Will be sorely missed by her sister Gladys, but will never be forgotten. Would friends and relatives please meet for a service in the Methodist Chapel, Dawson Street, Crook at 11.00 a.m. on Monday, May 19, to be followed by cremation.

ROBINSON May 12 (peacefully, at home), of Woodside, Shadforth. Ernie, aged 82 years, beloved brother of Joe and Violet, much missed by the rest of his family. Would family and friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Monday, May 19 at 1.30 p.m.

Norma, aged 79 years, beloved wife of the late Johny, loving mam of David, Keith, Graham, Paul, Ann, Simon and Julie, also a much loved mother-in-law, nana, great-nana and a loving sister. Funeral Friday, May 16. Will friends please meet for service in St. Augustine's R.C. Church at 2.00 p.m., prior to cremation at Darlington Crema-torium. Family flowers only please by request. R.I.P

RUTTER May 11, (suddenly, at home), of Lilburne Crescent, Newton Aycliffe. Agnes, (nee Young), aged 65 years, beloved wife of Robert, also dear mother, grandmother and sister of Olive. Funeral Wednesday May 21. Would friends please meet 10.30 a.m. for service at St. Clare's Church, Newton Aycliffe, followed by private cremation.

SEED May 11, (suddenly, at home), of Manor Grove, Cockfield. Dora, (nee Linsley), aged 86 years, a much loved mother and mother-in-law, also devoted grandma and great-grandma. Would friends please meet for service in St. Mary's Church on Monday May 19, at 1.40 p.m. followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium.

SMITH May 11, in Pelton Grange Nursing Home (late of Witton Gilbert, Durham). Katie (nee Walker), aged 82 years, dearly loved wife of the late Ernie, a loving and sadly missed mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Friends please meet for service at St. Michael's Church, Witton Gilbert on Friday, May 16 at 10.30 a.m. Private cremation to follow. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Macmillan Nurses, c/o Stuart Wright Funerals, Langley Park, Durham.

STEWART (nee Allen) May 14 (peacefully at home), of Sedgefield Terrace, Fishburn Margaret (Peggy), aged 80 years, dearly loved wife of Ronnie, much loved mam of Pat and Ronnie, a much loved gran and a dear sister. Cremation Tuesday, May 20 at 11.00 a.m. in Durham Crematorium Chapel. A coach will be provided for friends wishing to attend the service. This will depart at 10.35 a.m. from St. Catherine's Church.

TEMPEST May 13 (suddenly), of Hartley Terrace, Spenn-ymoor. Sydney, dearly loved husband of the late Edna, also a beloved uncle. Service in St. David's Church, Tudhoe on Friday at 12.00 noon. Private cremation following. Friends please meet at church. Family flowers only by request.

THOMPSON (nee Jolly) May 11 (peacefully, in hospital), of Darlington. Marjorie, aged 78 years, beloved wife of Leslie, a much loved mam of Ian and Brian, a dear mother-in-law of Jennifer and Lea, also a loving and devoted nanna of Shaun, Michael, Kieran, Stephanie, Steven and Mark. Would friends please meet for service at St. Andrew's Church, Darlington on Tuesday, May 20 at 10.45 a.m., followed by interment at the North Cemetery.

THOMPSON May 13 (formerly of Waterhouses), in Rookstone Nursing Home, Durham. Dorothy Stewart, aged 98 years, beloved wife of the late Thomas, dearly loved mam of Peggy, Mollie and the late Tom and Bobby and sadly missed by all her family and friends. Would friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church, Waterhouses on Tuesday, May 20 at 10.45 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations to St. Cuthbert's Hospice and Macmillan Nurses may be given after the service in envelopes.

THOMPSON May 12, peacefully, in hospital, of Rydal Nursing Home, Darlington. Gladys, aged 78 years, dearly loved sister-in-law of Dorothy, sister of the late Ronnie, a dear daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel Thompson and also a much loved aunt and great-aunt. Funeral Wednesday. Friends please meet for service in St. John's Church at 12.30 p.m., followed by interment in the East Cemetery.

THOMSON Shirley (nee Town), formerly of Burley-in-Wharfdale, died peacefully in hospital, following long term illness on May 12, 2003, aged 66 years. Much loved and cherished by loving husband Gordon, sons and daughters Janet, Karen, Roger, Ian and Adrian, partners and grandchildren. Service at Harrogate Crematorium on Monday, May 19 at 1.40 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Church of England Children's Society.

TURNBULL (nee Barker) 27.02.32 - 11.05.03 Ethel (Hetta), peacefully in hospital, of Red Ridges, Brandon, with her nieces around her. A much loved aunt and great-aunt. Private funeral at her own request at Durham Crematorium on Thursday at 9.00 a.m.

Nancy, aged 93 years, beloved wife of the late Harry, a much loved mam of David and the late Doreen, a loving nan of Mark and great-grandma of Sam. Missed already. Funeral Friday, May 16. Will friends please meet for service 11.45 a.m. at the West Cemetery Chapel, Darlington, prior to cremation.

WALDEN David, of Waterhouses, died on May 11, 2003. Much loved husband, dad, son, brother, uncle and friend. Friends to meet at Durham Crematorium on Friday, May 16 at 3.30 p.m. Family request no flowers but, if wished, donations in lieu to LASBAH (Leicester Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus), c/o Mrs. A. Twomlow, 29 The Crescent, Market Harborough, Leicestershire. LE16 7JJ. A plate will also be provided at the back of the crematorium.

WALKER On May 11, tragically, of Brandon. Mark Jonathan, aged 32 years, dearly loved son of Carol and Malcolm, loving brother of Lee, a much loved grandson of Marion and Albert, a dear nephew and will be sadly missed by Richard and all the family. Would friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Methodist Church, Brandon on Saturday, May 17 at 10.30 a.m., followed by interment in South Road Cemetery. Friends welcome for refreshments at Mount Oswald Manor afterwards.

Louisa, beloved wife of the late Thomas Arthur, loving mother of Pat, Anthony and Dorothy, a dear mother-in-law, a much loved nana of Alan, Deborah and David and great-nana of Stevie-Louise. Will friends please meet for service in Wolsingham Methodist Chapel on Monday, May 19 at 2.00 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu, if desired, between Newtown House Comforts Fund and Weardale Community Hospital Garden Fund.

Frank, aged 75 years, a devoted husband of the late Sybil, a very precious and greatly loved dad of his darling daughters Linda and Jacqueline, a wonderful father of his two sons-in-law Paul and Colin and adored grandad of Luke, a treasured uncle of Catherine, Terry, Danielle and Jessica, a well respected friend of so many. Funeral service to take place on Thursday May 15, at Darlington Crematorium at 1.45 p.m. Friends invited, please meet at the crematorium Chapel. No flowers please.
