MALCOLM On January 6, suddenly in hospital, of Consett, late of Weardale. Bryan, aged 69 years, devoted husband of Jean, much loved dad of Chris and David, father-in-law of Lisa and grandad of Peter and Stephanie. Will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Mountsett Crematorium on Thursday, January 13 at 10.15 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, to the British Heart Foundation, Unit 3, Trinity Square, Gateshead, NE8 1AN.

MARSH January 8 (peacefully, in hospital), of Ravensdale Road, Darlington. Lucy Ann, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Edgar, loving mother of Geoffrey, Marjorie and Jean, also much loved mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunty, granny and great-granny. Funeral Thursday January 13. Would friends please meet 10.30 a.m. for service at Holy Trinity Church, Darlington followed by private interment.

George, aged 81 years, beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Mills), devoted dad of Ann and Brian, dear father-in-law to Mike, also a much loved and loving grandad of Kate. Cortege to leave his son's residence at 2.20 p.m. on Friday, January 14, for service in St. Andrew's Church at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in Bishop Auckland Cemetery. Will friends please meet at church.

MARTIN Leslie Peacefully, in hospital on January 5, of Great Ayton. Leslie, aged 79 years. Beloved husband of Ann, dearly loved dad of Elizabeth, Catherine, Graham and Ruth, dear father-in-law of Tom, Andrew and Kath and a much loved grandpa of Christopher, Kirsten, Alison, Katy, Alicia, Daniel and Oliver. Funeral service in Christ Church, Great Ayton on Thursday January 13, at 11.30 a.m. prior to interment in Great Ayton Cemetery. Will friends please meet at church. Family flowers only please.

MAXWELL Newton Hall Peacefully at home, on January 5, aged 58 years. Val (Valerie), a much loved wife of Eddie, devoted mam of Jason and Beverly and loving grandma of Mikayla, Rhys, Robyn, Jade and Megan, also a loved sister of Brenda, Lynda and Reg, a loved mother-in-law, sister-in-law and auntie. A wonderful lady who will be sadly missed by all her loving family and many friends. Ann Freda, aged 84 years, beloved wife of the late Stanley Francis (Stan), devoted mum of Loraine and dear mother-in-law to Geoff, a much loved and loving nanna to Clare and Lisa and great-nanna to Molly. To be received into St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Tow Law at 6.30 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, followed by Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.45 a.m. Family flowers only please. MEEK January 10 (peacefully in Tenlands Nursing Home, Ferryhill), formerly of Princess Court, Spennymoor. George, aged 91 years, beloved husband of Winnie, a dearly loved dad of Brian, Walter and Pauline, a dear father-in-law and a much loved granda and great-granda. Would friends please meet at St. Charles R.C. Church, Tudhoe Village, Friday for a Requiem Mass at 10.00 a.m., followed by private committal at Durham Crematorium.

MILLER Marjorie, aged 85 years, formerly of Whitcliffe Grange, Richmond, died peacefully in hospital in Leicester on January 6. Beloved wife of the late Bill and a much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Funeral service at Richmond Cemetery Chapel on Friday, January 14 at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the cemetery chapel. No flowers please, at Marjorie's own request. MOSES January 12, of Grainger Street, Darlington. Eleanor (Nell), aged 85 years, dearly loved sister of Mary and the late Bob, also a much loved sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt. Funeral Tuesday. Friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 2.15 p.m. Family flowers only please.

NEWTON Malcolm Stuart (Strawboss), suddenly at home on December 31. Malcolm, aged 65 years, dearly loved husband of Joyce, much loved brother of Trevor, son-in-law of Doug and brother-in-law of Ann and Frank. ORD (Framwellgate Moor) Peacefully in hospital on January 6, aged 81 years. Irene, beloved wife of the late Vince, dear mother of John, a much loved grandma of Michael and Graham, sadly missed by all family and friends. ORR January 7 (peacefully, after a long illness), of Belsay Walk, Darlington. Peggy, aged 77 years, beloved companion of Tommy, loving mother of Pat, Christopher, Susan and Christine, also a deeply missed nana and great-nana. Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Thursday, January 20. Would friends please meet 10.45 a.m., for service at Darlington Crematorium. ORR Peggy, passed away peacefully on January 7. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her dearest companion Tommy Blewitt. Also Anne, Arthur, Janet and their families. It was a pleasure to have known and loved such a wonderful lady.

OXENDALE Cicely, aged 94 years, died peacefully in Beechwood Nursing Home, Northallerton, on January 13, 2005. Funeral service and committal to be held at St. Bede's Teesside Crematorium at 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2005.

PARKINSON January 9, of Wear View, Hunwick. Rachel, aged 86 years, dearly loved wife of the late John, loving mother and mother-in-law of Brenda and Ken, more than a gran to John, Bryan, Tony, Andrew, Dianne, Kathleen and Leanne, devoted great-gran to Jason, Kieran, Stuart, Rachel, Courtney, Amber, Jack and Morgan, also a loving sister and aunt. Friends please meet for service at Sunnybrow Community Chapel on Wednesday, January 19 at 11.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham.

PARTRIDGE January 10. Mary, aged 90 years, beloved wife of the late Charles and mother of Edwin and David, loving nana of Joy, Joanne and Amanda and great-grandmother of Craig, Michaela and Erin. Many thanks for the loving care given by the staff at Middleton Hall Nursing Home. Will friends please meet for service and cremation at Darlington Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday, January 19 at 2.15 p.m.

PEACE Dorothy Joyce, of Prospect Farm, Bellerby, died December 24, 2004, in the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton. A private family cremation was held at Darlington Crematorium on January 12, 2005. The family wish to thank all friends who are thinking of us at this time for their prayers and kind wishes. With special thanks to the caring staff at the Friarage Hospital.
