Funeral service to be held in St. Lawrence's Church, Kirby Sigston, Northallerton at 11.00 a.m. Saturday, January 22, followed by interment.

KING January 17, of Bishop Auckland. Lawrence (Lawrie), aged 72 years, beloved husband of Pauline, devoted dad of Pauline, Steven, Jacqueline, Chris, Ian and Paul, a dear father-in-law, much loved and loving grandad and great-grandad, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in Bishop Auckland Methodist Church at 12.30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, followed by interment in South Church Cemetery.

LAMB January 13 (suddenly, in hospital). Jean, aged 63 years. Much loved wife of the late Gordon, a dearly loved mam of Jill and son-in-law David, a devoted nana of Joanne. Service to be held in Durham Crematorium Chapel at 1.30 p.m. on Monday. Would friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please. Alexander Campbell (Alec), aged 79 years, dearly loved husband of Mabel, much loved dad of Annette and David, Ian and Barbara, Keith and Cath, grandad of Dawn and Nigel, Andrew, Paul and Nicola, Joanne, Clare and Rob, Lauren and Grace, also a great-grandad of Lewis Curtis and Benjamin and brother of Jack. LECKENBY Darlington January 20 (suddenly at home). Ruth, nee Dalby, aged 83 years, loving wife of the late Ken, much loved mam of Joan and mother-in-law of Keith, dearest nana of Jeff, Ian and Sarah, great-nana of Kerry, Scott, Jordan and Guy, dear sister-in-law of Jean and Ettie, sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Thursday, January 27. Would friends kindly meet for service at Darlington Crematorium Chapel at 1.45 p.m., prior to cremation. LEWIS January 17, peacefully, late of Middlestone Moor. Thomas (Tommy), aged 76 years, dearly loved husband of the late Nellie, dearest dad of Anne, Jeff and David, a dear father-in-law and granda. Service in St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor on Friday at 11.00 a.m. Friends please meet at church, interment at Byers Green. Family and friends are welcome for refreshments afterwards at Middlestone Moor Working Men's Club.

LITTLE January 6, a peaceful release at Middleton Hall Nursing Home. Joan Dorothy, aged 84 years, beloved wife of the late Dennis Arthur Little, treasured daughter and caring godmother. Funeral Wednesday, January 19. Would friends please meet 10.30 a.m., for service at All Saints' Church, Hurworth followed by burial.

LONGSTAFF January 15, peacefully, in Barrington Lodge, Bishop Auckland, formerly of Eldon Lane. Edith (nee Chapman), aged 97 years, beloved wife of the late John Richard, devoted mam of Richard and Christine, a dear mother-in-law, also a loving and treasured nana and great-nana. Will friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Bishop Auckland on Monday, January 24 at 2.30 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be given for Dr. Lamb's work for diabetic children, c/o the family.

LOWE January 12 (suddenly, at home), of Auckland Park, Bishop Auckland. Mahala Irene, aged 89 years. Beloved daughter of Margaret and John, sister of Stanley, much loved by her nephew John, his wife Gill and their children Francesca and Dominic, remembered with great affection by dear friend Hazel and many others. McGEE Darlington January 14 (peacefully in hospital), of Hargreave Terrace. James (Kenny), aged 70 years. Beloved husband of the late Rose, dearly loved dad of Kevin, Shaun, Patricia, Michael, Susan and the late Paul, a dear father-in-law of Keith and Shirley, also a much loved grandfather and great-grandfather.
