Donations, if desired, to Cancer Research and the British Heart Foundation.

HURN January 23, formerly of Hambleton Close, Thirsk. Albert, aged 89 years, beloved husband of the late Audrey, a loving father and dearly loved grandad and great-grandad. Service at St. Mary's Church, Thirsk on Thursday, January 27 at 1.00 p.m., followed by interment. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Mary's Church.

JOHNSON Margaret, aged 64 years, of Manor House, Hackforth, died suddenly but peacefully at home on January 24. Very dear wife of William, much loved mother of Andrew, Michael and Katie and mother-in-law to Paul. Funeral service at Crakehall Methodist Chapel on Monday January 31 at 2.00 p.m. followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the chapel. Family flowers only, if desired donations may be given in the chapel for The British Heart Foundation and Crakehall Chapel Funds.

Frank, aged 90 years, of St. Andrew's Close, Aycliffe Village, beloved husband of the late Eileen, much loved father of Neil and Keith, dear father-in-law and grandfather. Funeral Wednesday, February 2. Would friends please meet for service 12.45 p.m., at St. Andrew's Church, Aycliffe Village prior to cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Donations in lieu of flowers to St. Andrew's Church.

JOHNSON On January 24, peacefully in hospital. Mary, aged 84 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Bill. Funeral service and cremation to be held on Monday at Stranton Grange Crematorium, Hartlepool at 1.00 p.m.

JOYEUX January 21 (peacefully at St. Teresa's Hospice). Patrick, aged 75 years, of The Byway, Darlington, a much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral on Friday, January 28. Would friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 10.15 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be sent to St. Teresa's Hospice.

JOYEUX Patrick A close and special friend. Always in our hearts and thoughts. Dearly missed by Tony, Sheila, Dawn and Neil.

KOCHANIEC passed away peacefully on January 21, of Romanby, Northallerton. Sonny, aged 80 years, dearly loved husband of Elizabeth and a loving father and grandfather. Funeral Mass to be held in the Sacred Heart R.C. Church 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, prior to cremation.

LANDELLS January 11, formerly of Coundon. Eleanor Miriam (nee Dennison), aged 91 years, dearly loved wife of the late Syd and beloved sister of the late Florrie, George and Alf. Friends please meet for service in St. James' Church, Coundon on Tuesday, February 1 at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment in Coundon Cemetery. Grateful thanks to the staff at Hackworth House Residential Home, Shildon and latterly at Denehurst Nursing Home, Ferryhill. A kind gentle lady lovingly remembered by family, friends and neighbours.

LIDDELL January 23 (in hospital), of Bourne Way, Willington. Samuel (Sammy), aged 92 years. Dear son of the late Ada Dixon (formerly Liddell) and loving brother of the late Robert Liddell. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Tuesday February 1, at 2.00 p.m. Sadly missed by relatives Bob and Jean Tulip.

LOCKETT January 27 (after a long illness bravely borne, in hospital), of Woodland Crescent, Kelloe. Henry (Harry), aged 72 years. Devoted husband of Mary (nee Marr), loving dad of Kelvin and father-in-law of Jackie, a precious grandad to Jody and Bethany, a special brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Cortege leaving residence Wednesday February 2, for service in St. Helen's Church at 12.00 noon followed by interment in Kelloe Cemetery. Even in pain you were the kindest most thoughtful loving person, I will love and miss you always. Until we meet again your devoted wife Mary.

Adored wife of Don 'Her Mac', loving mother of Anne and Philip, dear mother-in-law of Nigel and Maureen, devoted nanna of Sarah, Heather, Andrew, Tony and Leanne, loving big nan-na of Callum and a loving sister of Brian and Margaret. Cortege to leave residence on Tuesday for service at the Church of the Ascension, Easington Colliery at 12.00 noon, prior to a cremation at Durham Crematorium at 1.00 p.m. Friends are kindly invited, please meet at the church. McDONAGH On January 22, after a short illness. David, aged 56 years, dearly loved husband of Sandra, father of Julie and David, grandfather of Sophie, Stella and Leo, son of Eileen and the late David, brother to Frank and Alan.
