WARDMAN January 21, of 11 Rose Lea, Witton Gilbert. Geordie, aged 44 years. Much loved partner of Pauline, a loved son of Doreen, will be sadly missed by all. Would friends please meet for service and committal at Durham Crematorium on Friday January 28, at 9.30 a.m. Family flowers only by request. Donations in lieu if so desired to the Willowburn Hospice, c/o Pauline.
WARDMAN January 21, in hospital of Witton Gilbert. George, aged 44 years, dearly loved brother of Joe, much loved brother-in-law of Josephine and loved uncle of Lynsey and Michael. I had a brother who had a heart of gold His loss to me will never be told A beautiful life came to a sudden end He died as he lived Everyone's friend. God Bless

Dearly loved wife of the late Leonard, much loved mother of Christine, mother-in-law of Raymond, treasured and loving gran of Helen and Rachel, a dear sister-in-law, caring aunt and special to Joan. Sadly missed by all family and friends. Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at Barnard Castle Methodist Church on Friday January 28 at 10.30 a.m. followed by interment. Family flowers only please, donations if desired may be given in church to Teesdale Visually Handicapped Club and to Teesdale After Stroke Club.

Thomas Gordon, much loved and cherished dad to Angela and Jeremy, precious grandad of Findlay, former husband of Gwen, also a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. WILLIAMS Olive (nee Johnson), formerly of Windlestone. Peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at North Bay, Ontario, Canada. Loving wife of Joseph. Survived by her beloved sons Keith and Alan and her dearly loved grandchildren Evan, Brandon, Laura, Eric and Scott, loved daughter-in-law Pat (nee Moore) and nieces and nephews in England. Arrangements entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home, 464 Wyld Street, North Bay, Ontario, Canada P1B 1Z5.

WINTER Framwellgate Moor, late of Gilesgate. Peacefully in hospital on January 21, aged 75 years. Margaret, dear wife of Edwin, much loved mother of Margaret, dear mother-in-law of Ivor and a dearest nana and great-grandma to all the family. Friends please meet at St. Gile's Church, Gilesgate on Monday January 31, at 10.30 a.m. for service prior to interment in the church yard.

YOUNG J.C. (Joe), died very suddenly on Saturday, January 15, brother to Molly, Audrey and Basil, a brother-in-law to Walter, Ted and Irene, a very much loved and respected uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service at Durham Crematorium Chapel at 3.30 p.m., on Friday, January 28. Will friends please meet at the crematorium. AKENHEAD Mary February 1, of Crossfield Crescent, Shotton. Mary, aged 89 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Adam, a loving mother, mother-in-law and also treasured grandma and great-grandma. Cremation Durham Crematorium on Tuesday February 8. Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service at the crematorium at 3.00 p.m.

ALDERSON January 31 (in hospital), of 64 Market Place, Middleton-in-Teesdale. Ruby, aged 74 years, dearly loved daughter of the late Harold and Violet, much loved sister of Stella and Kenneth. Friends please meet for service and interment at St. Mary's Church on Saturday, February 5 at 1.30 p.m.

George, aged 83 years, devoted husband of Gertrude, devoted dad of Diane, Steven and Sue, dear father-in-law to Gerry, Sue and Paul, also a much loved and loving grandfather and great-grandfather. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium on Tuesday, February 8 at 1.30 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be left at the crematorium or sent in memory to The British Legion.

Church, Richmond on Monday, February 7 at 5.30 p.m. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, February 8 at 10.00 a.m., followed by burial in Catterick Village Cemetery. Friends please meet at the church.
