Funeral Thursday, February 3 at 2.00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, Masham, followed by interment. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

KILLIAN January 31, formerly of Ushaw Moor. Mary (nee Mahan), aged 82 years, beloved wife of the late James and dearest friend of Barbara, Alan and family. To be received into St. Joseph's R.C. Church on Friday, February 4 at 6.00 p.m. for Requiem Mass on Saturday at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment in the churchyard. On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy. R.I.P.

KNIGHT On January 26, in Ridgeway House Nursing Home, (formely of Wingate). Ernest, aged 88 years. Father of the late Eva and grandfather of John. Funeral service to take place at Durham Crematorium on Thursday February 3, at 1.00 p.m. Friends please meet at the chapel.

LAVERICK On January 27, peacefully in hospital. George Matthew, aged 83 years, of Darlington (retired Police Inspector), dearly loved husband of Evelyn, dear brother of Lucy and brother-in-law Maurice and a dear uncle to his nieces and nephews. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Wednesday, February 2 at 3.15 p.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please.

LEIGHT Ada On February 2, of Greenhills Estate, Wingate. Ada, aged 86 years, dearly beloved wife of William, loving mother of Carol, a dear mother-in-law of James and also a devoted nana of Caroline. Cremation Hartlepool Crematorium on Tuesday, February 8. Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service at Holy Trinity Church, Wingate at 1.30 p.m.

LEIGHTON Jennie (formerly of Crook), daughter of the late William and Lily Leighton. passed away peacefully in London on January 30, 2005, aged 88 years. A loving sister and aunt who will be greatly missed.

LINES Willington George, passed away February 2. Family and friends please meet for service at Willington Spiritualist Church on Tuesday, February 8 at 11.30 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to the Spiritualist Church. Margaret, aged 59 years, beloved wife of Lloyd, dearly loved sister of Elizabeth and in-laws Donald, Leslie and Alice. Sadly missed by cousin Ann and all family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Henry, much loved mum of Margaret and the late William (Bill), also a loving mother-in-law, nanna and great-nanna. Funeral service and interment to be held at St. Lawrence's Parish Church, Carlton Miniott, Friday, February 4 at 12.30 p.m. Family flowers only please. Moira, aged 74 years, dear wife of the late George, loved mother of Tom, Ian and Graham, also beloved grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. McARTHUR Vivienne (nee Bland), animal lover and artist, died peacefully in Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban on January 29, 2005. Funeral service will be held in Lochfyneside Parish Church, Minard, Argyll on Friday, February 4, 2005 at 1.00 p.m., thereafter to Kilevin Cemetery. McGIVERN February 1 (peacefully, in hospital), of The Chains, Gilesgate, Durham. Maureen, (nee Purdham), aged 59 years. A dear wife of Gerry, much loved mother of Vicky and husband Ian, also a dearly loved grandma of Nathan and Taryn, sadly missed sister of Anne and Jack, special aunty of Alison, Stephen, Sam, Susan, Stephanie and Antony and cherished friend of Janet. Friends please meet for service at St. Margaret's Church, Crossgate on Thursday February 10, at 10.00 a.m. followed by interment in South Road Cemetery.

MILLER February 3, peacefully after illness borne with great courage and dignity. Margaret (nee Landells), aged 71 years, of Bishop Auckland. Devoted wife of Bill, much loved mother of Jackie, dear mother-in-law to Chris, also a loving gran of Aaron, Dominic, Joshua and the late Adam. Will friends please meet for service in St. James' Church, Coundon at 1.15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, followed by interment in Coundon Cemetery.

MORAN February 2 (peacefully), in Tenlands Care Home of Ferryhill. Stan, aged 84 years. Much loved husband of Jean, dear dad of Stan and John, father-in-law of Natasha and Irene, much loved grandad of Nicola, Jason, Alexandria, Stephen, Lee, Lisa, Stacey, Mark and Kirt and a loving great-grandad. MORGAN Joan Theresa, aged 87 years, of East Cowton, died peacefully at home on February 3. Beloved wife of the late Major Trevor Morgan and mother to Richard. Josie, aged 82 years, beloved wife of the late Edwin, loving mother of Mary and Edwin, mother-in-law of Ken and Sylvia, a much loved gran of David and Katherine, Richard and Caroline and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
