Beloved wife of Keith and devoted mother of Laura and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Edith (formerly Tutin, nee Richardson), aged 84 years, loving wife of the late Morris, dearly loved mother of Christine and Alan, dear mother-in-law of Gordon and Angela, much loved step-mother of Brian and Rita, also a dearest grandmother and great-grandma. Friends please meet for service in St.John's Church on Friday, March 11 at 12.00 noon, followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only by request. Donations, in lieu, may be sent to, the British Heart Foundation, Regional Office, 4 Bridge Street, Tadcaster. Norma, aged 69 years, beloved wife of the late George, a dearly loved mam of Kevin, a loving mother-in-law of Andrea, a devoted nana of Daniel and Adam, also a dear sister-in-law and aunt. Will friends please meet for service at St. Aidan's Church, Chilton on Tuesday at 12.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham.

HILTON March 3, peacefully at Ashwood Park Nursing Home, late of Peterlee. William, aged 88 years, beloved husband of Joan (nee Watson), dearly loved father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. Family and friends please meet Friday, 1.30 p.m. at St. Cuthbert's Church, Peterlee for service, followed by interment at Horden Cemetery.

Christine Alice (nee Mickle), aged 37 years, dearly loved wife of Colin, loving mother of Laura, Daniel and Allison and will be sadly missed by all her family. Gladys, aged 95 years, beloved wife of the late John James (Jack), a dearly loved mother of Valerie and Doreen, also a dear mother-in-law of Jim and Terry. HOLIDAY Maud (formerly Pettler, nee Smith), aged 97 years, late of Stapleton, died peacefully at the Abbey Care Village, Scorton on March 6. Beloved wife of the late Ted Holiday and the late John Pettler, much loved mother of Rene, Norman, Dennis and George and a dear mother-in-law, loving nana, great-nana and great-great-nana. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday, March 15 at 11.15 a.m. Friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel.

HOOD March 10, (peacefully, in hospital), of St. Pauls Close, Spennymoor. Geoffrey, aged 61 years. Beloved brother of Margaret, Dave and Rose and a much loved brother-in-law and uncle, also a dearly loved friend to Teresa and Ian. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium Thursday for a service and committal at 3.00 p.m.

MAUGHAN Helen Irene Loving wife of the late Rupert. passed away in Darlington Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 28, aged 84 years, after bravely overcoming many illnesses. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her devoted brother Humphrey and devastated daughter Beryl, son-in-law Raymond, all her friends at Guru Boutique, Greencross Court and the Grange Care Home and all her relatives. She was a lovely person who brightened up the lives of all those she came into contact with. Special thanks to all the medical staff who have helped her over the years. Family and friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium Chapel, Thursday, March 10 at 11.45 a.m.

Funeral Thursday, March 10. Would friends please meet 11.45 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Mary's R.C. Church, Newton Aycliffe, followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium.

MOORE Suddenly, but peacefully, at Borders General Hospital, Melrose, on March 7, 2005. Mary Moore, nee Lamb, of Rutherford, Kelso and formerly of Sober Hall Farm, Ingleby Barwick, wife of John Wallace Moore, mother and grandmother. Sadly missed by all her family. Service at Mortonhall Crematorium, Main Chapel, Edinburgh on Friday, March 11 at 11.00 a.m., followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Holy Trinity Church, Melrose at 2.00 p.m., to which all friends are respectfully invited. There will be a retiring collection for Borders Macmillan Nursing Service and the Injured Jockeys Fund.
