OWENS (Crook) Peacefully in hospital, after a short illness bravely borne, on March 9, aged 63 years. Shirley (nee Williams), devoted wife of Vic, loving mam of Melvyn and Allison, dear mother-in-law, devoted nana of Danielle, Graeme and Garrick, also a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunty. Friends please meet for service in St Catherine's Church on Monday, March 14 at 11.00 a.m., followed by private interment in Crook Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the P.D.S.A., White Chapel Way, Priors Lee, Telford, Shropshire, TS2 9PQ.

PIKE John Percival, aged 77 years, of 2 Wathcote Place, Richmond, died peacefully at the Friary Hospital, Richmond on Sunday, March 6, with his caring family around him. Dearly loved husband of Joan, father of Alison, Richard, David and Heather and grandpa to his nine grandchildren. Ray, aged 78 years, dearly beloved husband of Joan, devoted father of Lynn, Gillian and Neil, dear father-in-law of Barry, Bryan and Gillian and also a much loved grandad, great-grandad. RAND Mary Ann, aged 79 years, of Meadowcroft, Cockfield, died peacefully in hospital on March 8. Beloved wife of the late Maurice, much loved mam of Melvyn and Malcolm, dear mother-in-law to Dorothy and Ann and a loving gran and great-gran. Funeral service at Cockfield Methodist Chapel on Thursday, March 17 at 10.45 a.m., followed by cremation at Darlington. Friends please meet at the chapel. Family flowers only please. RICKATSON On March 4, peacefully in Leeming Garth, formerly of Colstan Road and Brompton Banks. John Bernard, aged 85 years, dearly loved husband of the late Lily, loving father of Carol, Kathleen, John and the late Sheila, a dear grandad and great-grandad. Private family cremation, followed by a Thanksgiving Service in Brompton Methodist Church, 2.15 p.m. Monday, March 14. Family flowers only. Donations, if wished, may be given for the Stroke Association and church funds.

Dearly loved daughter of the late Margaret and John and sister of the late Dorothy, also much loved auntie of Michelle. ROBINSON James Alfred (Jim) On March 3, suddenly but peacefully at home. Jim, aged 82 years, of Stockton (formerly of Newton Aycliffe), a devoted and much loved husband of Ada Elizabeth, a loving father of Carole, Gloria, Christine and Pam, father-in-law of David, Terry, Steve and Noel, brother-in-law of Hilda and the late Jonathan, also a very much loved grandad and great-grandad. Private funeral to take place on Thursday, March 10. Will be sadly missed by your loving family.

ROBSON Bonnie, aged 48 years, of Northallerton, died peacefully in hospital, after a long illness, on March 8, 2005. Dear wife of Bob, loving mother of Mary, Robert, Peter and David, dearly loved daughter of Norman and Margaret Bruce and a much loved sister of Sally, Marg-aret, Josephine, Reggie, Danny and Annabel, also a loved auntie. Funeral service to be held at Northallerton Methodist Church on Tuesday, March 15 at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment.

RYAN March 7, 2005, in Bournemouth General Hospital (late of Darlington). David Michael aged 51 years, dearly loved only son of Shirley and Dick, loving Husband of Jan and a very dear father of Bryony and David, also a dear nephew, cousin and dear friend. SHARP On March 2 (peacefully, after a difficult illness), of Trough House, Low Row in Swaledale. John (Major retired), aged 68 years, dearly loved husband of Anne and very dear father of Gian and Rebecca. Funeral service to be held at Holy Trinity Church, Melbecks, Low Row on Thursday, March 10 at 12.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please, however, donations in memory of John may be given at the service for church funds. Will friends please meet at the church and accept this intimation.

John (Smudge), aged 64 years, dearly loved husband of Jean, much loved dad of Tracy, dearest father-in-law of Glenn, devoted grandad of Daniel and Kaytlin, loving brother of Richard and Elizabeth, brother-in-law of Allan and Christine and also a dear uncle of Richard and Catherine. Arnold, aged 76 years, dearly loved husband of the late Beryl, much loved dad of Denise and Cheryl, dear father-in-law of John and Maurice, devoted grandad of Mark, Lee, Simon and Adrian, great-grandad to Kane, Kaci and Kira, caring friend to Marjorie.
