BARWICK March 17, of Crook. Neil, aged 52 years, dearly loved partner of Sandra and devoted dad of Stephanie. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29.

BASSHAM March 18 (suddenly), of Gillings Court, Thirsk, formerly of Manchester. Edward, aged 93 years, beloved husband of the late Josephine, loving father of Frances and Ruth, a dear grandad, great-grandad and father-in-law. Requiem Mass will be held at All Saints' Church, Thirsk on Tuesday, March 29 at 10.00 a.m., followed by cremation.

BLAKELOCK Carrville Tragically, on March 8. Liam, aged 8 years, the beloved son of Kathryn and Gordon, a much loved brother of Helen and Shaun, also loving grandson, great-grandson, nephew and cousin. Liam will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. Friends please meet at St. Magdelene Church, Belmont on Saturday, March 26 at 10.15 a.m. for service, prior to interment in Belmont Cemetery. By request, family flowers only. Paul Anthony, aged 40 years, beloved son of Thomas and the late Jean, dearest brother of Suzanne, brother-in-law to David, a much loved uncle to Andrew, Matthew and Nicholas, also a dear nephew and cousin. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 2.30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31.

Rhoda, aged 86 years, beloved wife of the late Jack, devoted mum of Maureen and Jacqueline, dear mother-in-law to John, also a much loved and loving gran and great-gran. Will friends please meet for service in Woodhouse Close Methodist Church at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be left in church for Church Funds and the Heart Foundation.

BUNTING March 17, (suddenly, at home), of Ferryhill. Vena, aged 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Bill, dearly loved mother of Alan and mother-in-law Liz, also a dear gran of Richard and Joanna. BURR Darlington March 19 (after an illness fought with great courage and deter-mination), of Geneva Road. Kath, nee Taylor, aged 53 years, a dear wife, loving mam of Bev and Mark, a dear sister and nana, she will be sadly missed by all her family and many friends. Funeral Wednesday, March 30. Will friends kindly meet for service at Darlington Crematorium Chapel at 11.15 a.m., prior to cremation. A Thanksgiving service will then follow at 2.30 p.m. at Corporation Road Baptist Church, Darlington. Donations in lieu of flowers will be for Birom Bible Translation in Africa.

Lilian (nee Gardner), aged 82 years, loving wife of Roly, dearly loved mother of Billy and Tommy, dearest mother-in-law of Dorothy and Joan, a much loved gran and great-gran. Friends please meet for service in St. Peter's Church, Bishop Auckland on Wednesday, March 30 at 1.30 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium.

COOPER March 19 (in hospital). Kenny, aged 79 years, of Rosemary Court, Darlington. A dearly loved husband of the late Gwen, much loved dad of Kenny, Sue, Geoff and the late Chris, also a treasured grandad of Abi. Funeral Wednesday March 30. Would friends please meet 10.30 a.m. for service in The West Cemetery Chapel followed by interment into East Cemetery.

COWPER March 22, of West Auckland. Norman, aged 84 years, devoted husband of the late Edith, beloved dad of David and Melvyn, a dear father-in-law, much loved and loving granda and great-granda, also dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church at 11.15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, followed by interment in West Auckland Cemetery.

CRAGGS March 19 (peacefully in Springfield Nursing Home), of Deepdale Way, Darlington. Irene, aged 83 years, loving wife to Brian, much loved mam of Nigel and Alan, dearly loved mother-in-law to Kathleen, also a devoted nana, sister-in-law and auntie. Funeral Thursday, March 24. Would friends please meet 9.15 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium.

Ethel, aged 86 years, devoted wife of the late James William, beloved mother of Kenneth, Beryl and the late James William, a dear mother-in-law, much loved and loving gran and great-gran, also dearest friend of John. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29.

ELGEY (nee Dent) On March 21, of Millhouse Court, Gilesgate. Winifred, aged 83 years, beloved wife of the late Joseph, devoted mother of the late Caterina, also devoted mother of Josephine. Dearly loved nana, granny, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Winifred will be received into St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Mill Lane, with her beloved daughter Caterina on Wednesday, March 23 at 6.15 p.m. for Mass at 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass to take place on Thursday, March 24 at 2.00 p.m., followed by cremation at South Road Crematorium. Bus provided. All friends welcome afterwards at Mount Oswald Golf Club. Family flowers only. Donations in church to the Lourdes Fund.

ENGLISH March 20, of St. Helens, Auckland. Roger Featherstone, aged 56 years, beloved son of the late Freda and Norman, also a dear brother of Jeremy. Will friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church, at 2.30 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, followed by interment in West Auckland Cemetery.

Mary, aged 70 years, dearly loved wife of the late Bobby, very dear mum of Donna and the late Garry, much loved mother-in-law of Peter and loving grandma of Robert and Emma. Funeral service to be held at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday, March 29 at 1.45 p.m. Flowers are welcome, however donations in memory of Mary, if so desired, may be given at the service for Cancer Research U.K. Will friends please meet at the crematorium and accept this intimation.

Beloved husband of Mona, much loved father of April, a very sadly missed grandad of Jason and Josh and uncle of Stephen, much loved brother of Irene and brother-in-law Jack and uncle of David, Kenneth and Gloria. Service to take place on Tuesday, March 29, in The Chapel of St. Bede, Teesside Crematorium at 3.30 p.m.

William, aged 95 years, a dear husband of the late Betty, much loved father to Jennifer, Richard and Christopher, respected father-in-law to Robert, Lynda and Pauline, also a devoted grandfather to Jamie, Heather, Ian, Sarah, Emily, Rose and Harriet. Loving wife of John, dearly loved mam of Wayne, dearest mother-in-law of Bernice, devoted grandma of Aidan, Charlotte and Josh, much loved sister of Sylvia, Tot and Ted, dear daughter of the late Robert and Hilda Laskey, dearest sister-in-law and a cherished aunt.
