Barry, aged 62 years, loving father of Shaun and Gary, dear father-in-law of Jackie and Lucy and a devoted grandad, a dearly loved son of Mary and the late Ralph and a much loved brother and brother-in-law of Gwen and John. Friends please meet for service at Willington Methodist Church on Thursday, May 12 at 10.45 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham.

WOODWARK Miss Nan Woodwark, aged 96 years, of Richmond (formerly of Darlington), died peacefully on May 8. Beloved daughter of the late James and Maud Woodwark and a much loved aunt and great-aunt. Funeral service in St. Mary's Parish Church, Richmond on Tuesday, May 17 at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment at West Cemetery, Darlington at 2.30 p.m. Friends please meet at Church.

WRIGHT May 10 (peacefully after a long illness surrounded by her family). Nelly, aged 78 years, formerly of Malvern Crescent, Darlington, a loving wife of the late Tommy, much loved mother of Brian, Tony and mother-in-law to Marina, loving nana to Kelly, Nicky, Thomas and Charlotte. Sadly missed. Funeral to take place on Tuesday, May 17. Would friends please meet for service at 3.15 p.m. at Darlington Crematorium.

William Edward (Bill), aged 70 years, devoted husband of the late Audrey, beloved dad of Margaret, Brian, Lynn, Jeffrey, Patricia and Philip, a dear father-in-law, granda, great-granda, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Cortege will leave his daughter Margaret's residence in West Auckland at 11.50 a.m. on Monday, April 18 for service in St. Helen's Church at 12.00 noon, followed by private cremation. Will friends please meet at church. All are welcome to refreshment after this service.

BEDDINGFIELD April 7 (peacefully, in hospital), of Oaklea, Shildon. Edith, aged 86 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late William, devoted mother of David and mother-in-law of Vera, also a dear sister and aunt. Cremation Friday April 15 at Durham Crematorium following a service in The Crematorium Chapel at 9.30 a.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please. Thomas Gladstone, aged 86 years, beloved husband of Mollie, a dearly loved dad of Tony and Mandy and a much loved granda of Bridie, Anthony Gladstone, Kendra, McKenzie, Conar, Kelly and Michael. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium Monday for a service and committal at 2.30 p.m.

BOURNE (nee Spooner) Catherine Anne on April 6, 2005. Peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. Anne Bourne, aged 68 years of Honley, West Yorkshire, (formerly of Durham). The dearly loved daughter of Molly and the late Wilf Spooner, dearly loved mum of Mark and Kate, loved mother-in-law of Jim, much loved GranAnne to Eleanor and Matthew, beloved sister of Elizabeth and aunt to Bethan, Vaughan and Katie, adored friend of Val and Bill and much loved friend to many in her new home in Honley, her old friends and family in Durham and her older friends and family in Croydon. Funeral service at Honley Parish Church on Wednesday April 13, at 12.00 noon followed by cremation at Parkwood Crematorium, Elland at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only please by request. Donations in lieu if so desired for, ward 12, Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, Acre Street, Lindley. HD3 3EA. Will friends and family please accept this, the only intimation.

COCKBURN Peacefully at Bedale Grange, formerly of Northallerton, died on Sunday, April 10, 2005 after a long and happy life. Nancy, aged 89 years, beloved wife of the late Bill, cherished mam of Leslie and Elizabeth, a much loved mother-in-law of Sylvia, adored nana of Amanda and Gav, Matthew and Lou, Aaron, Luke and Daniel and treasured great-granny of Sadie, Sophie, Jake, Ben and Caitlin. George, aged 65 years, the devoted husband of Julie, the most loved dad in the world of Julie and Karen, a dear father-in-law of John and John, also a dear brother of Jimmy and Arthur. Maurice, aged 44 years, dearly loved husband of Marie, much loved father of John and Steven, a dearly loved son of Mary and the late Edwin and a dear nephew. Friends please meet for service at St. Mary's Church today Friday, April 15 at 1.00 p.m., to be followed by cremation at Darlington at 2.15 p.m. Family flowers only. ETHERINGTON (nee Bell) Florence, in her 99th year, peacefully on April 14, of Haughton Village Nursing Home, Darlington. Dearly loved mam of Joyce and Joan and a much loved gran, great-gran and great-great-gran. Funeral Wednesday, April 20. FINN Gerard, aged 45 years, of Richmond, passed away peacefully in hospital on April 6. Beloved son of Mary and Paddy, much loved brother to Michael, Sean and Declan, loved brother-in-law to Liz, Susan and Yvonne, treasured partner of Dee, devoted dad to Georgia and Harry and a very dear uncle of Kathleen, Frances, Jake and Louis. FLETCHER Jenny (Jane) On April 8, aged 83 years old, formerly of Langley Park. At peace now with her beloved husband Martin and adored eldest son Jimmy, loving mam of Martin, Norma and Marilyn and dearly loved and respected mother-in-law of Ken. Wonderful nana to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by family and friends. Service at All Saints' Church, Langley Park Thursday, April 14 at 11.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. All welcome back afterwards to Working Men's Club, Langley Park. A very special thank you to St. Andrew's Nursing Home, Stanley for the wonderful care and love given to Jenny during her stay and for the comfort and support given to Norma and Marilyn from day one.
