ANGUS Andrew June 30, peacefully at Yhoden Court Residential Home, Blackhall. Andrew, aged 78 years. Service and cremation will take place at Durham Crematorium on Friday at 3.30 p.m.

ARMSTRONG July 5 (in hospital after a short illness). Margaret (Peggy, nee Baul), aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Billy, a dearly loved mam of Joyce and Cliff, Terry and Barry, Billy and Judith, Gillian and Keith and a much loved nana of Neil, Leigh, Gary, David, Ashleigh, Emily, Sarah and Liam and great-nana to Hayley, Brooklyn, Brayden and Jennaya. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium tomorrow, Friday for a service and committal at 10.00 a.m.

ASHFORD Hilda May (nee Suttill). passed away peacefully on June 29, after a long illness graciously borne. Dearly loved wife of the late Reg (widow for forty nine years), a beloved mother to Bryan, David, Peter and Pamela, a mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Thanks giving service at Marton Methodist Church on Thursday July 7, at 2.30 p.m. following a family cremation service. Donations in lieu of flowers to, Zoe's Place, Baby Hospice, Normanby, through family.

BALL July 3, passed away suddenly, of Crook, late of Sacriston. Vera (nee Thompson), aged 83 years, beloved wife of the late George, adored mother of Diana, Carol, Ian and Ronnie, beloved grandmother and great-grandmother and the loving, caring and guiding heart of all the family. Cortege leaving daughter's residence in Crook. Friends please meet at St. Peter's Church, Sacriston on Friday, July 8 at 1.15 p.m. for service, prior to interment in Sacriston Cemetery.

Robert Niel, aged 78 years, beloved husband of Audrey, devoted dad of Robert and Jane, dear father-in-law to Janice and Philip, much loved and loving grandad of Matthew and Lucy, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. BEST Witton Gilbert, (formerly of Sacriston). In hospital on July 5, aged 65 years. Ernie, the beloved husband of Pat, also much loved father, father-in-law and grandad. BOWATER Wilson Little (known as Bill), died peacefully on July 4, 2005, in Belmont Grange Nursing Home after a long illness, six months after the death of his wife Kathleen. Bill was the much loved and respected brother-in-law and friend of Richard, Bryan and Janet (Johnson), uncle of Sarah and Paul, Susie and Chris and great-uncle of Jenny, Helen, Sally, William and Thomas. He was much admired by everyone for the way he coped with his illness in such difficult circumstances. He will be sadly missed. Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 11.
