Beloved wife of the late Jim, much loved mother of Miriam and Jim, dear mother-in-law of Bob and Ann and loving nanna of David, Helen, Philip and Elizabeth. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Friday, July 22 at 10.45 a.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers. Donations, if desired, may be given at the crematorium for the Romanby Ward, Friarage Hospital, Northallerton. All are welcome at the Booth Memorial Hall, Catterick Village following the service.

TAYLOR July 15 (peacefully, in hospital), of High Winning Cottages, Castle Eden. Richard, aged 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy James (nee Devonport), also a much loved father of Barbara James. Cortege leaving residence Wednesday at 10.50 a.m. Friends please meet at St. James' Church, Castle Eden for service at 11.00 a.m. followed by cremation at Hartlepool.

THOMPSON July 17, of Shildon, after a short illness. Frederick (Fred), aged 77 years, beloved husband of Jessica, devoted dad of Marilyn, Kevin and Darren, a dear father-in-law, much loved and loving granda and great-granda, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in St. John's Church, Shildon at 10.00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, followed by cremation at Durham.

THOMPSON On July 19, suddenly but peacefully at home, in Northallerton, formerly of Bedale. Edweena Annie (Anne), aged 55 years, dearly loved wife of Brian, loving mother of David, Geraldine and Juneanne, dearest nana to Andrew, Ryan, Helen, Lucy and Zoe. Funeral service to be held in St. Gregory's Church, Bedale 2.30 p.m. Monday, July 25, followed by interment. Family flowers only. Donations, if wished, may be given for the British Heart Foundation.

THOMPSON passed away to a better place on July 16, of Spennymoor. Lucy, aged six months, cherished daughter of Stuart and Cindy, a dearest granddaughter of Audrey and Bill, Margaret and James. Funeral Wednesday, July 20. Will friends please meet at 2.45 p.m. for service in St. Charles' R.C. Church, Tudhoe, followed by interment in Tudhoe Cemetery.

TODD July 15 (suddenly), of Cockfield. John Joseph (Jack), aged 77 years, loving husband of Maisie, dearly loved dad of Kevin and Ian, Susan and Jill, a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. TONGUE (Darlington) Peacefully in St. Mary's Nursing Home, Chester-le-Street on July 10, aged 81 years. Margaret, a loving wife of the late Glyn and mother to the late David Banks, a much loved mother-in-law of Anne and devoted grandmother to Audra and loved great-grandmother of Jake. Will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday July 20, at 12.00 noon.

Bill, aged 78 years (ex Deputy Chief Fire Officer Q.F.S.M.) dearly beloved husband of the late Bea, much loved and adored father of Jill and Danny, Margaret and Peter, devoted grandpa of Fiona and Mark, Richard and Heather and great-grandpa to Lucy. Forever in our hearts and many treasured memories. Funeral service to be held at St. Cuthbert's Church, Durham on Wednesday, July 20 at 2.15 p.m. for service, followed by a private cremation at Durham Crematorium. Florence (formerly Dixon, nee Lightfoot), in her 97th year, loving wife of the late Jack Varley and also the late Reg Dixon, dearly loved mother of the late Leslie, grandmother of Glen and also a dear great-grandmother. Funeral Monday. Friends please meet for service in St. Matthew and St. Luke's Church at 10.45 a.m., followed by private interment. Donations in lieu of flowers may be left for church funds.

Patricia Anne, aged 74 years, deeply loved wife of Peter, a much loved mum of Jane, Gil, David, Richard and Kate, mother-in-law to Laura, Ian, Nick and Daren and a much loved and devoted nana to Sarah, Catherine, Adam, Rebecca, Alex, Nina, Joel, Matt and Abigail. Private cremation at Durham Crematorium followed by a service of celebration and thanksgiving at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Mitford on Thursday, July 28 at 2.30 p.m. Family flowers only please.
