Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Richmond on Thursday, July 28 at 1.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. SKIDMORE (nee Dixon) Died July 20, peacefully in hospital. Maud Sheila, aged 87 years, of Bedale, formerly of Darlington and Wolsingham. Dearly loved wife of Arthur, much loved mother of Geof and Christine and mother-in-law of Sue, a devoted gran to Caroline, Georgina, Nathan and Miles and a great-gran to Thomas. A service of thanksgiving will be held at St. Gregory's Church, Bedale on Wednesday, July 27 at 3.00 p.m. Donations, if desired, will be given to the Friends of the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton.

SMITH July 27 (in hospital), of Aged Miners Homes, Meadowfield. William Johnson, aged 86 years. Dearly beloved husband of Doreen and a much loved father, father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad.
