Maureen, aged 66 years, dearly loved wife of Derek, a dear mam of Gary and daughter-in-law Karen, also a much loved gran of Kyle, Rhiane and Jordan, loved sister of Sheila and John, a dear sister-in-law and daughter-in-law of Alice. Cortege leaving residence 11.05 a.m., on Friday, August 12 for service in St. John's Church at 11.15 a.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium.

TODD Arthur Ernest (Ernie) (formerly of William Beck Farm, Chop Gate). Peacefully in hospital on August 4, Ernie aged 85 years, dear brother of Wilf, brother-in-law of Mabel and also a much loved uncle of Janet, Audrey, Graham, Barbara and Kathleen. Service to take place in St. Hilda's Church, Chop Gate on Friday, August 12 at 11.00 a.m., followed by burial within the churchyard. Would friends please meet at church. Family flowers only please by request. Donations in lieu if so desired to St. Hilda's Church (a collection will be made at church).

TURNBULL Robert On August 4, peacefully in hospital. Bob, aged 83 years, of Thornaby, a dear husband of the late Jean, a dear brother and brother-in-law and a dear uncle to all his nephews. Funeral service to take place in the Chapel of St. Bede, Teesside Crematorium on Thursday, August 11 at 2.30 p.m., prior to interment in Acklam Cemetery. John, aged 75 years, much loved husband of the late Bunty (nee Reed), father of Sue and Mike and grandfather of Charlotte, Lizzie and Kate. Funeral service to be held at St. Andrew's Church, Grinton on Thursday, August 11 at 1.00 p.m., followed by interment at Grinton Cemetery. Family flowers only please. WARDELL Norma, aged 82 years, of Richmond, died peacefully on August 7, at the Abbey Care Village, Scorton. Beloved wife of the late Stan, much loved mum of Colin and a dear mother-in-law of Carol. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday, August 11 at 2.45 p.m.

Edna (nee Hicks), aged 84 years, devoted wife of the late Fred, a much loved mother of Joyce, Enid, John and Tommy, a dearly loved nan to all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-granddaughter, a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt, also a friend to so many, especially Mary. Would friends please meet at St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor on Thursday at 1.00 p.m. for a service, followed by interment in Rock Road Cemetery.

Arthur, aged 73 years, devoted husband of Enid, much loved dad of Mary, Robert, Arthur and William, father-in-law to Brenda, June and Sheila, also a loving grandad and great-grandad. Wilfred, aged 78 years, of Northallerton, beloved father of Kenneth, Lavinia and Trevor, a dearest father-in-law and a special grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, August 25 at 10.30 a.m. at Northalllerton Methodist Chapel, followed by interment at Crakehall Cemetery. Family flowers only.
