Beloved and devoted wife of Kevin, loving mother of Angela and mother-in-law of John, adoring gran of Adam, Lewis and Dominic, a much loved sister, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, aunty and a good friend of many. Friends please accept this, the only intimation. Service in St. Cuthbert's Church, Etherley on Monday, August 22 at 10.30 a.m., followed by interment in Etherley Cemetery. Friends are welcome to return to The Dog and Gun, Low Etherley following the funeral for refreshments.

TATE Phyllis, aged 88 years, of Richmond, died peacefully at home on August 16. Beloved wife of the late Teddy Tate, much loved mother of Ruth, Joan and Keith, dear mother-in-law of John and Pat and a loving nan of Carl and Lloyd. TAYLOR Adrienne, aged 86 years, of St. Cuthbert's Avenue, Colburn, formerly of Ross-on-Sea, died peacefully at home on August 13. Beloved wife of the late Ted, much loved mum of Nigel and the late Jennifer, dear mum-in-law to Liz and loving nana of Daniel, Michael and Matthew. Funeral service at St. Cuthbert's Church, Colburn on Monday, August 22 at 10.45 a.m., followed by cremation at Darlington. Friends please meet at the Church. WADE John, former resident of Darlington, died August 11 in Christchurch, New Zealand. Loving father of Muriel and the late Kath, dear grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.

WARD On August 12, Edna (nee Lane), aged 69 years, formerly of Ferryhill, passed away peacefully at Countess Mountbatten Hospital, Southampton. Beloved wife of Russ, loving mother of Peter, Leslie and Barbara and granny to Samantha, Daniel, Matthew, Ellen, Faye and Luke. Forever walking with us.

WATSON Hugh Galbraith Aged 81 years. On August 13, of 132 Dean Road, Ferryhill (peacefully, in Bishop Auckland Hospital). Beloved husband of Mena, a devoted dad of David and Sue, Hugh and Valerie, Jane and John, much loved grandad of Robert and John. Cortege leaving residence at 1.25 p.m. on Thursday August 18, for service in The Village Methodist Church at 1.30 p.m. followed by interment at Duncombe Cemetery.

WILLIAMSON John George, on August 12, peacefully in Malton Hospital, aged 94 years (late Head Teacher of Eppleby and Gilling West Schools). A dearly loved father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral service at York Crematorium on Thursday, August 18 at 10.30 a.m., followed by Thanksgiving Service at Slingsby Church at 12.00 noon. Donations in memory of John for Slingsby Church and Malton Abbeyfield House.

WOOD August 13 (suddenly, in hospital). David, aged 60 years, of Darlington, beloved son of the late Joseph and Rene, also a dearly loved brother and brother-in-law.
