TURNER On August 20, peacefully with her family, of Rickleton,Washington. Meg (nee Heather-ington), aged 75 years, much loved mam of Robert, Thomas, Richard, Lynda, Graham, Allison, Margaret and Mary. Dearly loved mother-in-law, nana and great-nana to all her family, also sister to Jim, Mary and Anne. Meg will be received into St. John Boste R.C. Church, Oxclose on Wednesday, August 24 at 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass at 10.00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, followed by interment at Washington Cemetery, Washington Village. Will friends please meet at church. On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy. R.I.P.

WALKER August 24 (peacefully, in hospital). Isobel, aged 88 years, lately of The Grange Residential Home, Darlington. A much loved wife of the late Stan, a loving mam of John and treasured nanna and great-nanna, will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Wednesday, August 31. WALTON Mary Ellen (Mollie, nee Toole), aged 83 years, of Sherburn Village, died peacefully at the University Hospital, Durham. Ronald George (Ronnie), aged 81 years, beloved husband of the late Lily, also a much loved and loving dad, father-in-law, granda, great-granda, great-great-granda, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in St. Paulinus R.C. Church, St. Helens at 11.00 a.m. on Friday, August 26, followed by interment at Shildon. Beloved husband of the late Elsie, much loved dad of Kathryn, dear father-in-law to Ralph and loving grandad of David. Margaret, aged 76 years, beloved wife of Gordon, loving mother of Graham and Janet and partners Sheila and Stephen, a dearly loved grandma to Matthew and Sarah. WILSON Raymond Aged 78 years of New South Wales, Australia, (late of West Cornforth). A much loved husband, dad and grandad. Son of the late William and Catherine Ann Wilson (nee Laidlow), step-son of the late Frances Wilson, brother of Eunice and Ian. Died August 23, 2005 after a short illness.

WOODWARD August 22 (peacefully, in hospital), of Hackworth Close, Ferryhill. Robert (Bob), aged 91 years, much loved husband of the late Nancy, a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Would friends please meet for service in St. Luke's Church at 2.45 p.m. on Friday, August 26, followed by cremation at Durham.

ADAMSON August 28 (in hospital), of Sacriston. Norman, aged 75 years, dearly loved husband of the late Doreen, dear dad of Raymond and Karen, also loving grandad to Anji and great-grandad to Jasmine and brother to Phoebe. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Monday, September 5 at 12.00 noon. Afterwards all welcome back to 60 Daleside Sacriston.

BELL August 26 (suddenly, in hospital). Elizabeth (Betty), aged 68 years, of Kensington Gardens, Darlington, beloved wife of John, a dear mam of Colin and Christine, mother-in-law to Jackie and Kenny and a much loved grandma and great-grandma. Funeral to take place on Monday, September 5. Would friends please meet for service at 11.15 a.m. at Darlington Crematorium. All floral tributes to be sent to the Co-operative Funeral Service, 50 St. Cuthbert's Way, Darlington.

BELL Marjorie, aged 79 years, of Winston, died peacefully in hospital after a short illness, on August 23. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. A service to commemorate and celebrate her long life will be held at St. Andrew's Church, Winston on Friday, September 2 at 10.30 a.m., followed by cremation at Darlington. All friends are invited to meet at the church. Family flowers only, with any wishing to make a donation in lieu at the church. Family and friends are invited to Winston Village Hall after the service for a celebration of Marjorie's life - all stories welcome.
