Church, Sacriston 10.00 a.m. Tuesday, September 6 for Requiem Mass, prior to interment in the Churchyard. On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy R.I.P

HANSON August 24, in St. Michael's Hospice, Harrogate, aged 66 years. Janet of Harrogate, former manageress of Freeman Hardy and Willis, Richmond. The beloved wife of Malcolm, loving mother of Gillian and Elaine, mother-in-law of Paul and much loved grandma of Aaron, Sam and Bethaney. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Harrogate Crematorium today, Friday September 2, at 11.00 a.m. Flowers may be sent to, The Co-op Funeral Service, 95/97 Knaresborough Road, Harrogate. HG2 7LY, or donations to St. Michael's Hospice may be left on a plate at the service or sent to, Crimple House, Hornbeam Park Avenue, Harrogate. HG2 8QL.

HARDY Minnie, aged 82 years, of East Green, West Auckland, died suddenly in hospital on August 28, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Andy, much loved mam of Christine, dear mother-in-law to John, loving nanna of Neil and Clare, Joanne and Steven and great-nanna of Megan, Katie, Hannah and Robbie. Funeral service at St. Helen's Church, St. Helen Auckland on Tuesday September 6, at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment in West Auckland Cemetery. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only please, if desired donations for The Critical Care Unit, Bishop Auckland General Hospital may be given to a member of the family or alternately sent c/o, James and John Blenkiron Funeral Directors, 100 Galgate, Barnard Castle. Allen, aged 81 years, dearly loved husband of Betty, loving father of Derek, Michael, Maureen, Neil, Peter and Richard, dearest grandad of Angela, Matthew, Kerry, Jonathan, Amie, Emma and Catherine, also a dearest great-grandad of Joseph. Funeral service to take place at All Saints' Church, Crathorne at 11.00 a.m. Monday, September 5, followed by interment. Family flowers only. HEYWOOD August 26 (peacefully at home), of Briar Road, Carrville. Nick, aged 81 years, beloved husband of Edna, a dear dad of Carol, grandad to Richard and Michael and father-in-law to Martin. Would friends please meet for service at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Belmont on Tuesday, September 6 at 10.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium.

HILL August 20 (suddenly, in hospital). Jack (John William), aged 80 years. Devoted husband of Vally, loving dad of Susan, John and Michael, also a very proud grandad and great-grandad. Private funeral service took place on Friday, August 26, at Durham Crematorium, specifically at Jack's request.

HOCKING of Walker, (formerly of Framwellgate Moor). Suddenly, at home on August 23, aged 39 years. Gary, a loving son of Gordon, much loved brother of Neil and Ian, a wonderful man who will be sadly missed by all his loving family and many friends. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Thursday September 1, at 3.30 p.m.

JACKSON August 20 (in hospital). Dennis, aged 56 years, of Morpeth Avenue, Darlington. A loving son of the late Edith and Dennis, also a dear brother, uncle and nephew. Funeral Monday, September 5. Would friends please meet 3.00 p.m. for service at St. Andrew's Church, prior to cremation at Darlington Crematorium.

JACKSON Framwellgate Moor August 28 (peacefully, in hospital). Elsie, aged 78 years, much loved mother of David, Peter, Adrian and Caroline and also a dear mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother to all the family. Friends please meet at St. Nicholas' Church, Durham at 2.15 p.m. Monday September 5 for service, prior to cremation at Durham Crema-torium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired to St Cuthbert's Hospice, Merryoaks, Durham.

JAGGER August 25 (suddenly, in hospital). Nora (nee Baxter), aged 71 years, of Darlington, (formerly of Shildon). Beloved wife of Ken, loving sister of Jean, Sylvia and Sybil, a dear sister-in-law, also a much loved aunt and great-aunt. Funeral service to take place on Friday, September 2 at Darlington Crematorium at 9.45 a.m., prior to cremation. Friends invited, please meet at the Crematorium Chapel. Family flowers only. David, aged 67 years, beloved husband of the late Freda, a dearly loved stepdad, grandad, brother-in-law, uncle and sadly missed by all his friends. Dearly beloved wife of the late Billy, devoted mother of the late Shirley, a dearest grandma of Louise and great-grandma of Daniel, a loving and much loved aunt to Linda. METCALFE August 30, in hospital, of Mewburn Court, Darlington. Karmen, aged 48 years, much loved mother and best friend of Nadine, dearly loved daughter of Elfriede and James, dear sister of Ronnie, sister-in-law of Karen, also a much loved auntie of Emma, Aimi and Marc and a dear cousin of Sue. Funeral Tuesday. Friends please meet for service in St. Clare's Church, Newton Aycliffe at 11.00 a.m., followed by private interment in the West Cemetery, School Aycliffe.

MUSGRAVE August 27 (peacefully, in the Memorial Hospital, after a brave fight). Eric, aged 80 years, beloved husband of Jessie, very dear dad of Alec and Neil, a much loved father-in-law to Loraine and Clare, treasured granda to Jill, Ian, Fran, Peter and David, loving brother to George and Brian, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. He will be sadly missed, a true and loyal friend who touched the lives of many. Would friends please meet for funeral service at Neville Parade Methodist Church, Newton Aycliffe at 10.15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium at 11.15 a.m. Family flowers only please. Alan, aged 66 years (retired Police Sergeant, served in Durham and Northumbria), of Bedeburn Road, Jarrow, dearly loved husband of Sheila, beloved father of Gillian and Ian, dear father-in-law of Peter and Michele, loving granda of Heather and Andrew. Friends please meet at St. Peter's Church, York Avenue, Jarrow on Monday, September 5 at 1.45 p.m., followed by committal at South Shields Crematorium at 2.30 p.m. Afterwards all are invited for refreshments at Jarrow Conservative Club.
