George Vernon, aged 82 years, beloved husband of the late Lilian, dearly loved partner of Doreen, much loved dad of Alison, James, Heather and the late Fiona and a dear father-in-law, granda and great-granda. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Tues-day, September 13 at 1.30 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu may be given after the service for Cancer Research U.K. Friends welcome for refreshments at 4 East View afterwards.

HEATON Rose Q., aged 67 years, of Catterick Village, died peacefully at Rosedale Nursing Home, Catterick Garrison on September 4, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Beloved wife of the late Noel, stepmother to Patricia and Michelle, a loving grandma, much loved sister to Anna and Mary, sister-in-law to Peter and a dear aunt and great-aunt. Funeral service at St. Anne's Church, Catterick Village on Friday, September 9 at 1.00 p.m., followed by committal at Darlington Crematorium at 2.15 p.m. Friends please meet at the church.
