Donations, if wished, may be sent to the Diabetic Association.

METCALFE At home, in Sowerby, Thirsk on May 28. Hildegard (Hilde), aged 78 years, dear wife of Doug, mother of Gary, mother in law of Lisa, da to Kerry-Jade and Tara Luisa. Funeral Monday, June 2, 1.00 p.m. at York Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations for Cancer Research.

Peggy (nee Alderson), aged 79 years, beloved wife of the late Bill, much loved mam of Sandra and Diane, a dear mother-in-law of Jeff, devoted nana of Julie and Paul and great-gran of Hope. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at Darlington Crematorium on Tues-day, June 3 at 9.45 a.m.

MYERS May 28, suddenly, of Chilton. Gladys, aged 90 years, much loved wife of the late Frank, loving mother of Kathleen and Janet and grandma of Stefan, Zoe, Gemma and Michael, mother-in-law of Reinhard, Jim and Dave and a loving aunt. Funeral Wednesday. Friends please meet for service in Windlestone Methodist Chapel at 1.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Although she will be sadly missed, we will take comfort in knowing she has joined her beloved Frank in God's garden.

Bill, aged 83 years, much loved father of Margaret, Kathleen, Keith and Doug, also dear father-in-law, grandad and much loved brother of Douglas. Sadly missed by all his family and friends. Darling husband and best friend of Enid, much loved dad of Helen, step father of Pamela and Robert, adored grandad of Heather, Jenny, Kate, Rachel, Emily, Sam and Jack. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. Funeral Friday, June 6. Would friends kindly meet for service at St. Hilda's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium 3.45 p.m., prior to cremation. Cyril, aged 70 years, dearly beloved husband and best friend of Jean, much loved and devoted dad of Lynne and son-in-law Tony, also devoted grandad of Andrew. PEARSON On May 27, suddenly at home, of Burns Close, West Rainton. Tommy, aged 66 years, soulmate and loving husband of Brenda. Sadly missed dad of Brian, Barry, Linda, Carol, Susan and Karen, much loved and missed father-in-law and grandad. Funeral to take place on Tuesday.
