Ron, aged 65 years, a very dearly loved son of Lily and the late George Christopher, father of Mandy, brother of George and Lilian, brother-in-law to Jennie, a loving uncle and great-uncle and special friend of Mary. Cortege to leave his sister's residence at 1.35 p.m. for service in St. Mark's Church, Eldon at 1.45 p.m. on Friday, October 14, followed by private interment in South Church Cemetery. Will friends please meet at church and afterwards at the Belvedere Club, Bishop Auckland.

TAYLOR Robert, aged 91 years, of Sawmills Estate, Brandon, passed away peacefully in hospital on October 7. Much loved husband of the late Henrietta, father to David and father-in-law to Linda, grandfather to Victoria and Robert. Cremation at Durham Crematorium on Friday, October 14 at 10.00 a.m. Friends kindly invited, refreshments at the family home afterwards.

TIFFIN Died peacefully on October 9, at Bedale. Lillian, aged 93 years, beloved wife of the late Les, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Eric and Sandra, also a dear grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service and interment to be held at St. Gregory's Church, Bedale on Friday, October 14 at 12.00 noon.

TODD October 9, peacefully at home, with her family, after illness borne with immense courage. Elizabeth (Liz), aged 45 years, of Newton Aycliffe. Beloved wife of John, loving mam of Stacey, Richard and Daniel, devoted nan to Bethany, treasured daughter of Danny and June Longstaff, also a dearly loved sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Will friends please meet for service in St. Clare's Church, Newton Aycliffe at 9.15 a.m. on Monday, October 17, followed by private cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Donations may be sent to the MARA Unit at Bishop Auckland General Hospital or given care of the family.

TRICKETT September 29, suddenly, of Twinsburn Road, Heighington. Colin James (Fred), aged 72 years, most dearly loved husband of Anne (nee Denham), devoted dad of Jill, Helen and Carol and a wonderful grandpa. Funeral Friday, October 14. WAISTELL (nee Bayles) Norah Ada, aged 94 years, peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 11, of Mayflower Court, Darlington (formerly of Newfoundland Street). Beloved wife of the late Harry, dearly loved mam of Anne and Peter, dear mother-in-law of Don and Barbara, loving nan of Beverley and Richard, Kelly and Chris and Matthew and Sandi. Funeral Monday, October 17. Would friends please meet for service in St. Matthew and St. Luke's Church, Brinkburn Road at 2.00 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Con, aged 72 years, loving husband to Audrey, much loved dad to Peter, Kevin and Stuart, dearly loved brother to Mick, treasured grandad to Amanda, Matthew and Josh, also devoted great-grandad to Rebekah. WALLACE October 5, 2005 of Langdale House, West Burton. George, aged 87 years, much loved husband of Annie and a dear uncle and good friend to many. BELL Alan October 12, (in hospital), of Maple Ridge, Vancouver, Canada (formerly of Newton Aycliffe), aged 76 years. Beloved husband of Donna, father to Paula, Jeff, Colin and Graeme, grandfather to Laura, Stewart, Harry, Jamie, Stuart and Alan. Sadly missed, will always be remembered
