Interment Thursday October 20, in Willington Cemetery. Cortege leaving her daughter Barbara's residence at 11.50 a.m. for a service in St. Stephen's Church, Willington at 12.00 noon. HODGSON October 18, of Willington. Sarah Elizabeth (Bessie), aged 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Tommy, treasured mam of Bryan and Keith, also a dearly loved grandma, great-grandma and aunt. Friends please meet for service at Willington Methodist Church on Wednesday October 26, at 1.00 p.m. followed by interment in Willington Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to a reception after the service at Sarah's own residence.

HORROCKS Newton Hall Peacefully in hospital on October 12, aged 89 years. Albert, dearly loved husband of the late Sally, much loved father of Diane, devoted grandfather of Susan and great-grandfather of Luke. Will be sadly missed by all his loving family. Friends please meet for service at All Saints' Church, Newton Hall on Wednesday, October 19 at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at St. Mary's Churchyard, Sherburn Village at 10.15 a.m.

Maurice, aged 79 years, of Aiskew (formerly of Carricks Market Stall), beloved husband of Ellen, devoted dad, father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service to be held at St. Gregory's Church, Bedale on Thursday, October 20 at 1.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Stella Maris, aged 91 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Thomas, dearest mother of David, Brian, Barbara, Ernie, Billy, Terry and Neil, also a dear mother-in-law, a dear nana, great-nana and sister to Sheila. Interment Friday, October 21 in West Auckland Cemetery. Cortege leaving residence at 9.50 a.m. for a Requiem Mass in St. Paulinus R.C. Church, St. Helens at 10.00 a.m. Family flowers only please. Wilf, aged 83 years, beloved husband of the late Laura, devoted dad of Marion, a loving granda and great-granda, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in St. Mark's Church, Eldon at 10.15 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, followed by interment in South Church Cemetery. Please note change of time.

LANGHAM October 16 (peacefully, at his daughter Kirsty residence), of Shildon. David, aged 43 years. A dearly loved father of Daniel, Kirsty, Claire and Wayne, a dearest grandad of Lauren, Keeley, Luke, Hannah, Ryan and Lillia, a dear father-in-law of Adam, Paul and Vikki, also a dear son, brother and a friend to many. Many thanks to the district nurses for their wonderful care and attention. Interment Friday October 21, in Shildon Cemetery, following a service in The Methodist Church, Shildon at 12.00 noon, friends please meet at church. 'David kept his sense of humour to the very end'. Rose (Rosie), aged 74 years, formerly of Darlington, wife of the late Eric, mother of Allan and Sandra, mother-in-law of Dorothy and Chris and grandmother of Richard, Diane and Ashley, daughter of the late Ronald and Hilda. The service will take place on Friday, October 21 at Skipton Crematorium at 11.40 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to P.S.P. Association, The Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (P.S.P.Europe) Association, a plate will be left at the back of the chapel or c/o Emmott and Bradley Funeral Directors, 163 Keighley Road, Cowling, West Yorkshire, BD22 0AH.
