METCALFE November 4, peacefully at home with her family, in Bishop Auckland. Vera (nee Topping), aged 69 years, formerly of Witton Park. Beloved wife of the late Robert, devoted mam of Julie and Jacqueline, dear mother-in-law to David and Kevin, a much loved and loving nana to Laura, Louise and Becky, also a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Will friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church, Witton Park at 10.45 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, followed by interment in Witton Park Cemetery.

Michael, aged 41 years, beloved husband of Sharon, devoted dad of Andrew and Karl, a loving son of Connie and the late Alan and also a much loved brother, son-in-law and uncle. OSWALD On October 19, suddenly on holiday, of 28 Malcolm Avenue, Quarrington Hill, Durham. Tommy, aged 64 years, devoted husband of Joyce and a much loved dad of Anthony. Dearly loved husband of the late Lily, much loved father of Godfrey and father-in-law of Moreen, treasured grandad of Ian and Sheena, and Nigel and Stephanie, and great-grandad. John (Jack), aged 90 years, loved husband of Marjorie and a loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, great- grandfather and brother.
