Funeral service at St. Edmund's Church, Sedgefield at 10.00 a.m. on Monday, June 9, followed by cremation at 11.00 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Bede, Teesside Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to The Visually Handicapped c/o Mrs Edna Ripley, 15 Highland Terrace, Ferryhill, DL17 8AD.

GAMBLIN June 5, of Hamilton Row, Waterhouses, Durham. John, aged 72 years, dearly loved husband of Eve and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Willie, aged 74 years, much loved husband of Nan, loved father of Aileen, William, Morag and the late Andrew and his six beloved granddaughters. Service to take place at St. Aidan's United Reformed Church, Hexham on Thursday, June 5 at 1.00 p.m., followed by cremation at Newcastle West Road Crematorium at 2.15 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Burn Brae Medical Equipment Fund, Hencotes, Hexham.

James (Jim), aged 78 years, dearly loved husband of Violet, loving father of Derek and a very dear stepfather of Sandra, treasured grandad and great-grandad, dear brother of Leslie and the late Ronnie and a dear uncle. Funeral Wednesday, June 11. Will friends please meet for service and cremation 11.15 a.m. at Darlington Crematorium.

Dearly loved husband of Mary and a much loved father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Dearly loved wife of Steven and loving mother of Jaime, also much loved daughter of Tom and Margaret. Sadly missed by all of her family and friends. Would friends please meet for funeral service at St. Mary's Parish Church, Barnard Castle on Tuesday, June 10 at 12.30 p.m., followed by interment. Family flowers only please. Matilda, aged 87 years, beloved wife of the late Robert, much loved mam of Margaret, Eileen, Peter, the late Bob and Brian, a dear mother-in-law, much loved nana and great-nana, dear sister of Betty and George. Funeral Tuesday, June 10. Would friends please meet 9.30 a.m. for service at St. John's Church, Darlington, prior to cremation. Flowers welcome or donations in lieu if desired, in aid of Lewis, great-grandson of Tilly, for cerebral palsy treatment. A plate will be provided in church.

HUTCHINSON May 31 (tragically), of Ruskin Crescent, Thornley. Lee, aged 18 years, beloved son of Geoff and Diane and partners Janette and Rob, brother of Ryan, a treasured grandson of Barbara, Basil, Edna and the late Alan, great-grandson of Gladys, a long term loving boyfriend of Donna, a loving nephew and sadly missed cousin. Would friends please meet for service at St. Bartholomew's Church, Thornley on Friday at 1.00 p.m., prior to interment at Thornley Cemetery.

HYND Patricia (Trish, nee Foster), aged 43 years, of Bearpark (formerly of Spennymoor), died suddenly on May 28. Loving and devoted wife of Ryan, loving mother to Adam, Stacey and Alexander, daughter to the late William Foster and Patricia and Patrick Hoey, daughter-in-law to Maggie and Ian, loving sister to Kevin, Vernon, Carole, Vicky and Patrick, also a devoted aunt and sister-in-law. Funeral arrangements at a later date. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts.

Thomas, aged 80 years, a loving husband of Betty (nee Baker), dearly loved father of Elizabeth, David, Marion and Stephen, dearest father-in-law and a much loved grandad, great-grandad, also a dear brother. Cortege leaving Naylor Road, Sedgefield Thursday, at 1.35 p.m. Friends please meet at Sedgefield Methodist Church for service at 1.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. William, aged 73 years (late Post Master, Ushaw Moor), dearly loved husband of Joan, much loved father of Gary, Ian and Sharon and also a dear father-in-law and grandfather. KNOWLER May 31, of Coundon. Mary, aged 79 years, beloved wife of the late Stan, a devoted mam, mother-in-law, nan and great-nan, also a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Will friends please meet in Durham Crematorium at 9.30 a.m. on Monday, June 9. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu for the Stroke Foundation may be left, if desired, at the crematorium.

LAMB May 26, peacefully, in Norwich. John Mungall, aged 93 years, Company Secretary of Constantine Holdings, formerly of Middlesbrough, Thornton-le-Dale, Malton and Edinburgh. Beloved husband of the late Eileen and marvellous father and mentor to his son Chris. Treasured memories from daughter-in-law Jane, grandchildren Catherine, William and Donald. The funeral service and cremation took place on Monday, June 2 at Earlham Crematorium, Norwich. Donations if desired may be made payable to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution or National Trust and sent c/o Gordon Barber Funeral Home, 317 Aylsham Road, Norwich, NR3 2AB.
