Funeral service at Bainbridge Methodist Chapel Thursday, June 5 at 12.30 p.m., followed by interment at Bainbridge Cemetery.

LOCKEY June 3, in Rookstone Nursing Home, Durham and late of Grape Lane, Durham. Frank, aged 80 years, dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, sadly missed by all his family and friends. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Friday, June 6 at 8.30 a.m.

MATTHEWS May 24, of Shildon. Doris, aged 90 years, beloved wife of the late Jim, also a dear mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Will all family and friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 3.15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4.

MAWSON Newton Aycliffe May 31, (peacefully), in Aycliffe Care Home. Annie, (nee Wilson), aged 83 years, much loved wife of the late Tom, loving mother of Margaret, Maureen and Lynne, dear mother-in-law, loving nana and great-nana. Funeral Thursday June 5. Service to be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, Shildon at 2.00 p.m. prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium 3.00 p.m. Would friends kindly meet at the The Citadel. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if so desired would be much appreciated and may be given in aid of The Salvation Army, Shildon.

MILBURN June 4, suddenly, but peacefully at home, in Hutton Rudby. Evelyn, aged 85 years, dearly loved wife of the late Maurice, loving mother of Barry and David, mother-in-law of Kate and Barbara, loving grandma to Andrew, Graham and Helen. Funeral service to be held at Hutton Rudby Methodist Church Tuesday, June 10 at 1.00 p.m., followed by cremation. Donations, if wished, for Hutton Rudby Day Centre.

MILES May 26, (in hospital), of Kirkcaldy, (late of Spennymoor). Margaret, (nee Richardson), aged 78 years, a loving wife of Eric, a much loved mam of David, mother-in-law of Evelyn, a dearly loved gran of Craig and Melanie and a loving sister of Bobby. The funeral service took place at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Friday May 30.

MILNER June 2 (suddenly at home), of 20 Whitefields Drive, Richmond. Malcolm, aged 64 years, dearly loved son of the late John and Gladys Milner, very dear brother of Brian and Alan, much loved brother-in-law of Brenda and Elizabeth and dear uncle of Paula and Margot. Funeral particulars to be announced later.

MOODIE June 5 (peacefully), in Tenlands Nursing Home, Ferryhill (formerly of Darlington and Spenny-moor). Margaret Patricia (Pat), aged 83 years, dearly loved daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Moodie (Dentist). Pat will be missed by all her family. Service at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday at 10.30 a.m. Would friends please meet at the Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Tenlands Nursing Home, Ferryhill.

MUDD May 31, (peacefully, in Spain with his family), of Richmond, North Yorkshire, Harry, aged 84 years. A service will held in Richmond for family and friends, date to be arranged later.

NORGROVE June 4, peacefully, in Rydal Nursing Home, Darlington (formerly of Darlington Manor Residential Home). Benjamin, aged 87 years, much loved husband of the late Cecilia (Cissy), dearly loved father of Annette and the late Cissy, Robert Edward, William and Benny, dear grandad of Paul, Joy, Michael, Robert, Kirston, David and Claire, also a dear great-grandad. Funeral Monday, June 16. Would friends please meet 9.30 a.m. for service in St. James' the Great Church, Albert Hill, Darlington followed by cremation. No flowers please, by own request. Donations, if so desired, to be made for St. James' at the church.

Nancy (nee Worthington), aged 78 years, beloved wife of Alan, dearly loved mum of Elizabeth, John and Michael and much loved granny and a dear sister-in-law. Funeral Monday. Would friends kindly meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Aycliffe Village at 1.30 p.m. No flowers please. Donations may be sent for St. Andrew's Church.

PALLISTER On June 5, suddenly in hospital, formerly of North Cowton. Monica, aged 83 years, dearly loved wife of the late Billy and mother of the late Ann and a dear aunt. Funeral service to be held in St. James' Church, Romanby, Northallerton at 1.00 p.m. Thursday, prior to cremation.

PRESCOTT June 1, peacefully, in hospital. Ann, aged 87 years, of Byland Avenue, Northallerton (formerly of East Harlsey and of the Royal Signals Regiment), widow of Jim, mother of Colin, Jim and Barrie (deceased), mother-in-law of Vanessa and Helen and cousin of Dorothy. Funeral service to be held at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday, June 10 at 3.15 p.m. No flowers please but donations may be made, if desired, to the Royal National Institute for the Deaf. Cheques to Plaice, Blair and Hatch at 240 High Street, Northallerton, DL7 8LU or collection at the crematorium.

PRITCHARD June 4, late of 11 Little Ings, Hawes. Margaret Jane, much loved mother and grandmother. The funeral service will take place at St. Mary and St. John's Church, Hardraw at 2.00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, followed by interment at Hawes Methodist Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Norma, aged 75 years, of Edinburgh Drive, Darlington, dearly loved wife of Stan, much loved mum of Beverley and Christine and dear mother-in-law of Stuart. Funeral Thursday, June 5. RAINE May 30, of Hamsterley, Bishop Auckland. George, aged 96 years, devoted son of the late Joseph and Jane, also a much loved uncle and great-uncle. RANSON June 4 (unexpectedly at her daughter's residence), of Chester-le-Street (formerly of Pelton Fell). Florence May (nee Bewick), aged 74 years. Beloved wife of the late George, a dearly loved mother of June and Elaine, a loving mother-in-law of Stuart and Bill and a much loved gran of Mark, Nicola, Nik and Andrew. Would friends please meet at St. Mary and St. Cuthbert Church, Chester-le-Street, Thursday for a service at 1.45 p.m. followed by interment in Chester-le-Street Cemetery. Family flowers only. RENNISON June 4 (peacefully, in Tenlands Nursing Home, Ferryhill), of Hanover Gardens, Bishop Auckland (formerly of York). Doreen, aged 75 years, devoted mother of Robin, Vera, Wendy and the late Kathleen, a dear mother-in-law, also a much loved grandma, great-grandma and a dear sister. Cremation Tuesday, June 10 at Durham. Cortege leaving her daughter Wendy's residence at 10.00 a.m. for service in the Crematorium Chapel at 10.30 a.m. Friends please meet at the Crematorium.

ROBINSON June 4 (peacefully), at Appletree Residential Home, Meadowfield, formerly of Spennymoor. John, aged 91 years, beloved husband of the late Tilly, dearly beloved father of Mary, John and Gerard, grandfather, great-grandfather and father-in-law. Mr Robinson will be received into St. Charles' R.C. Church, Tudhoe at 6.30 p.m. on Friday. Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment in York Hill Cemetery. On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy. R.I.P

ROBSON On May 27, peacefully in hospital, in Northaller-ton. Dorothy (nee Jewitt), aged 73 years. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Leake on Saturday, June 14 at 11.00 a.m. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to The Red Cross, Red Cross House, Zetland Street, Northallerton, DL6 1NB.

RODMAN In loving memory of Marjorie (Madge) Rodman (nee Dove) who died peacefully on May 29. Now to be re-united with late husband Ronald, most dearly loved mother of Karen, Jill, Pamela and Alison, mother-in-law and grandma. Will be sadly missed and remembered always. The funeral service will take place at St. Michael's Church, Bishop Middleham on Thursday at 11.00 a.m. No flowers by request. ROSS Nancy (nee Drummond) May 30, died peacefully in Eden Cottage Care Home. Nancy, aged 97 years, widow of Ernest Ross, much loved sister, aunt and friend. Would friends please meet for service at St. Herbert's Church on Friday at 2.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. No flowers. Donations in lieu, for St. Herbert's, may be made at the church.

SCOTT Ernest. Loving brother of Fred, brother-in-law of Doreen and a much loved uncle. Always remembered.

Jacob Ernest, aged 81 years, dearly loved and loving husband of Joyce, much loved dad of Barbara and son-in-law Malcolm, devoted grandad of Keith, Mandy and Neil. Friends please meet for service and interment at St. Mary's Church, Middleton-in-Teesdale on Tuesday, June 10 at 2.00 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers to Middleton Surgery. Susan (nee Taylor), aged 40 years, devoted mother of Amanda-Kelly, Hayley, Sebastian and Fiona, much loved daughter of Chris and Frank, loving sister of Ian and Brian, sister-in-law of Carol and Anne-Marie and sadly missed by Keith. Funeral to take place on Thursday. Will friends please meet for service at St. Mary's Church, Coxhoe at 12.45 p.m., followed by interment in St. Mary's Churchyard and afterwards at Bowburn W.M.C. SHINGLETON June 1, at Gloucester, (formerly of Alma Terrace, Nevilles Cross). Verna, aged 91 years, dearly loved wife of the late Frederick, much loved mother of Carole and Hazel, mother-in-law of Martin and Bob, dear grandma of John, Susan, Oliver and Harry and great-grandma to Mia. She will be greatly missed by us all.
