Kathleen, of Catterick Village, dearly loved daughter of Tim and Kathleen, a very dear sister to Malachy, Timothy and Deirdre, also a dear auntie. To be received into St. Cuthbert's R.C. Church, Crook, County Durham at 6.00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, prior to Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. on Thursday, October 13. Will friends please meet at church, interment to follow. LUKE - On October 7, in hospital, after a long illness, of Gilesgate. Irene, aged 79 years, the devoted wife of Jack, a much loved mother of Norma and Alan, a dear mother-in-law of Linda, loving gran of Gregg and Alison, also dear sister of Mark. Irene will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. Friends please meet at St. Giles' Church, Gilesgate on Thursday, October 13 at 12.15 p.m. for service prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium.

MACKENZIE - October 12 (in hospital), of West Cornforth. Evelyn (formerly Farley, nee Topping), aged 93 years, beloved wife of the late Donald and a dearly loved mam, mother-in-law, grandma, great-grandma, sister and aunt. Would friends please meet for service at the Salvation Army, West Cornforth on Tuesday, October 18 at 2.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Will be sadly missed. At Rest

McCRISTALL - The family of the late Norman McCristall, formerly of Moorfield Bungalows, Scotton, wish to announce that Norman passed away suddenly, but peacefully on October 12, 2004 at home in Whitby, North Yorkshire. He was aged 66 years. Norman attended Richmond Grammer School from 1949 to 1955 and was an active member of The Richmond Cycling Club from 1953. He left the area in 1959 to live in Whitby where he married in 1961. Norman leaves a wife, a son, two daughter's, and four grandchildren.

MELVIN - On October 4, peacefully, formerly of Westcott Drive, Durham. Elsie, aged 82 years, dear wife of the late Ron, will be sadly missed by all family and friends.
