BOWRON - (nee Hankey) February 23. Suddenly, but peacefully in hospital after a long fight against illness patiently accepted. Mary, aged 70 years, of Newton Aycliffe. Beloved wife and sweetest friend of Brian, treasured mam of Christopher, Astrid and Andrew and mother-in-law to Rob, also a loving grandma to George. Would friends please meet for service on Monday, March 6, at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Newton Aycliffe at 1.30 p.m. followed by committal at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. George, aged 78 years, loving husband of Audrey (nee Shaw), a dear dad of Colin and David, also a dearly loved father-in-law and granda of Kathryn, Kevin and Richard. Would friends please meet for service at St Giles' Church, Gilesgate on Friday, March 3 at 1.00 p.m., followed by interment at South Road Cemetery.

Beloved husband of Lilian, devoted dad of Denise and Clive, dear stepdad to Dorothy, Norman and David, dear father-in-law and a much loved granda. By his own request, a private family service will be held in St. Mary's Church, Cockfield, followed by interment in Cockfield Cemetery.

Maisie, aged 89 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Richard Norman, loving aunt of Jean, Alan and family (America) and a loving aunt of Mavis, Stan and family and also a great friend of the Burns family. Beloved wife of the late Arther, loving aunt to her nieces, great-nieces and nephews and their families, her cousins dearest Sheila and loving Pam and life long friend of Winnie, adopted mother to Clem and family and special friend of John, Anne and family, her loving God daughter Sylvia, Paul and Bill, her wonderful friends at The Community Centre and her special friends of The Bearpark Church Ladies Circle, her friends from near and far whose lives she has touched and enriched with her love and she was loved by all. A Thanks Giving service at her church St. Aidan's on Thursday March 2, at 1.15 p.m. where she was christened and has worshipped all her life, then committed at Durham Crematorium. All are welcome to The Community Centre, Woodbine Road for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations if desired at church for St. Aidan's church funds and The British Heart Foundation.
