May 22 at 11.00 a.m., followed by burial in the cemetery. Friends please meet at church.

DRAKE - May 10 (peacefully, at High Hall, Bainbridge), of Bishopdale. Nora aged 95 years, beloved wife of the late Ted and mother of Shirley, a dear grandmother of Roz and Claire and great-grandmother of Sam and Pippa. Funeral service at Aysgarth Church Tuesday, May 23 at 12.00 noon. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, for the Air Ambulance. DROONEY - Lionel, aged 55 years, of Colville Crescent, Colburn, died suddenly on May 13, much loved brother to Mervyn, Jenn, Phillip, Mike, Caroline and Shirley and a dear brother-in-law and uncle. A huge void was left in our lives the day he was taken to rest. Our very special brother was without doubt the best. Frederick Charles (Fred), dearly beloved husband of Doris, a very dear dad of Malcolm, Peter and the late David, a dear father-in-law of Susan and Caroline and a dear grandfather of Fiona, Steven and Sophie. Funeral service to take place at Stokesley Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 23 at 1.00 p.m., followed by cremation. Family flowers only. Donations if wished may be given for Church Funds. Fred will be very much missed by all the family.

Joyce (nee Bulmer), aged 76 years, beloved wife of the late Thomas, a dearly loved sister, sister-in-law and aunt. HODGSON - May 12 (in hospital), of Cherry Garth and formerly of Long Street, Thirsk. Hilda, aged 89 years, beloved wife of the late Fred and dear mother of Philip and Gerald.
