Service to take place at Holy Trinity Church, Wingate on Monday at 1.30 p.m., prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. All friends are kindly invited please meet at the Church. Alice Dodds, aged 81 years (formerly of the Victoria Bridge and Queens Head, Framwellgate Moor). Beloved wife of the late George, devoted and loving mam of Vera and Susan, mother-in-law to Paul and loving sister to Ena. A wonderful sister to Peter and the late Chris, Honor and John, daughter of the late Rev. Martin Brack and Dorothea Brack. A lifelong lover of the countryside and an enthusiastic old Castertonian, previously of Sherborne, Dorset. A service will be held in Durham Crematorium at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for Freddie's life in Bishop Auckland Methodist Church on Saturday at 10.15 a.m. After this service all are welcome to refreshment in the church hall.
