Ken, aged 81 years, dearly loved husband of Winnie, much loved dad of Pauline and Kenneth, a loving grandad to his five grandchildren and also a dear brother. Would friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium Chapel on Friday, March 9 at 1.00 p.m. All are welcome afterwards for refreshments at The Green Tree, Tudhoe Village. Will be sadly missed by all family and friends.

Friends please meet for service in St. Catherine's Church, on Thursday, March 8 at 2.30 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. URWIN - (formerly Chicken) February 28, of Hunwick. Violet, greatly loved mother, nanna, great-grandma and friend, died peacefully in her sleep, aged 96 years. Will friends and family please meet at the Assembly of God Church, Bishop Auckland on Wednesday, March 7 at 10.15 a.m. to celebrate Violet's long and caring presence amongst us. Cremation private. Beloved husband of the late Betty, much loved dad of Ethel, dear father-in-law to Michael, loving gramps to Linda and Suzanne and great-grandad of Stephen and Claire. BARKESS - March 23 (peacefully in Aycliffe Nursing Home, after a long illness), of 91 Derwent Road, Ferryhill. Richard (Dick), aged 88 years, husband of Elsie (now departed), uncle to the nephews and nieces of the Pearson and Barkess families.
