PEARSON - Reverend Roderick Percy Pearson, late of Sherburn House, Durham and St. Michael's, Bishop Middleham, peacefully in his 86th year, on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Durham University Hospital. Widower of Joan who passed away on January 30, 2006, much loved and missed by his sons Michael and Martin and dearest daughter Kate and their partners Patricia, Diane and Michael, his grandchildren Andrew, Kevin, Kim, Freddie and Hannah. Service on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at Noon within the Chapel at Sherburn Hospital, Sherburn House, Durham, followed by cremation at 1.00 p.m. within Durham City Crematorium. A gathering for family and friends at Sherburn Hospital will be held at 1.45 p.m. in Sherburn Hospital Conservatory. Family flowers only. Donations please to Sherburn House Charity. RACE - Muriel (nee Simpson), died September 8, 2007, aged 87 years. Muriel, formerly of Thorngarth Hill, Baldersdale, Greta Bakery, Barnard Castle and Willow Lodge, Wolsingham died peacefully in her sleep at Castle Bank Residential Home, Tow Law. Dearly loved and missed by husband Robert daughters Lynne, Catherine and Angela, sons-in-law Tony, John and Philip, grandchildren Victoria and Sean and sister Irene.
