ANDERSON - On November 9, died suddenly in hospital. Ron, aged 75 years of Newton Aycliffe, dearly loved husband of Edna and much loved dad, grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service Tuesday, November 20, 9.45 a.m. at St. Clare's Church, Newton Aycliffe prior to cremation at Darlington Cremat-orium. Family flowers only please. Donations (if so desired), to The British Heart Foundation.

ASHTON - November 11, peacefully in hospital, of Parkside, Darlington. Charlie, aged 84 years, much loved husband to Annie, also a dearly loved dad, father-in-law, grandad, great-grandad and great-great-grandad. Funeral Tuesday, November 20. Would friends please meet 1.00 p.m. for service at St. Columba's Church, Darlington followed by cremation.

BALMER - November 14, (suddenly), of Bridge Street, Bishop Auckland. Gary, aged 53 years. Dearly loved son of Una and the late Ken, a dearest father of Alex and Zoe and step father to Paula, Lesley and Holly, also a dear brother and uncle. Cremation Wednesday November 21, at Durham. Following a service in The Crematorium Chapel at 12.00 noon. Friends please meet at the crematorium.

BARKER - Alan On November 12, suddenly at home, greatly loved husband of Vera (Veronica), dearly loved and only son of Rachael and the late Sid. Funeral arrangements to follow.

BICKLEY - November 8, suddenly. Keith, aged 46 years, of Shildon. Much loved dad of Hayley and Mark, also a dear son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a good friend to many. Will friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 2.15 p.m. on Thursday, November 15. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be left at the crematorium for the Heighington Scout Group. All friends are invited to meet afterwards at the Jubilee Fields Community Centre, Shildon.

Martha, aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late Stephen, loving mother and mother-in-law of June and Arthur, devoted nan of Stephen and Andrew and grandmother-in-law of Mhoira and Tracey, great-grandmother of Samantha, Tony, Jonathan and Nikita and great- great-grandmother of Ellie. Friends please meet for service at St. Stephen's Church, Willington on Monday, November 19 at 1.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham.

BLACKETT - November 8, peacefully in hospital. Nora, aged 87 years, of Fountains View, Darlington. Wife of the late Maurice Blackett and dearly loved mother of Phillip, Brian, Paul and the late David and Kenneth. A much loved mother-in-law and grandmother, who will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Service takes place on Thursday, November 15 at 2.45 p.m. at Darlington's West Cemetery Crema-torium.

Jean (formerly Berry, nee Nesbitt), aged 76 years, beloved wife of the late Jim, a dearly loved mam of Kevin, William and the late Alvyne, a loving mother-in-law, grandma, great-grandma and great-great-grandma, a very dearly loved sister of Carole and the late Robert and sister-in-law of Margaret and Alan. Would friends please meet at Saltwell Road South Crematorium, Gateshead, Tuesday for a service and committal at 2.00 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired may be left in the collection plate at the crematorium for The British Heart Foundation.
