Dorothy, aged 72 years, a dearly loved wife of Bill, a special and much loved mam of Trevor, Carole and Gary, Philip and Mandy, Sandra and Andrew and Tina, a loving nana of Sharon and Nick, Donna, Kerry, Simon, Shaun, Joshua, Thomas, Jennifer, Connor and Angel, also a great-nana of Hayley, Samantha, Jack, Sophie, Louis and Katie. Treasured forever and always in our hearts. Funeral to take place on Friday, September 15. Would friends please meet 11.00 a.m., for service in St. Matthew and St. Luke's Church prior to cremation at Darlington Crematorium.


DUNN - September 4 (peacefully in his sleep), of Watson Close, Wheatley Hill. Peter, aged 50 years, a loving husband of Margaret (nee Elcoat), a much loved son of Marie and James, dearly loved brother and uncle. Cortege leaving residence Friday at 10.00 a.m. Friends please meet at Thornley R.C. Church for Requiem Mass at 10.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. ELLIOTT - Sheila (nee Auton) Aged 76 years. Passed away peacefully on August 30, at her family's home after a long illness bravely fought. Beloved wife of the late Alan Elliott, adored mum of Eric, Helen and the late Graham, dear mother-in-law of Anne and Clive, wonderful grandma to Alexander, Georgina, George and Sophie. Funeral service to be held at All Saint's Stranton Church, Hartlepool on Wednesday September 6, at 1.45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. No flowers by request. ETHERIDGE - September 4 (suddenly), of Aycliffe Village. Charles Henry, aged 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Ethel, loving dad of Maureen and Tony, also a much loved father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. The funeral service will take place on Friday September 8, 2.15 p.m. at Darlington Crematorium Friends welcome, please meet at crematorium.


EVERETT - Douglas George Died peacefully at home on August 28, 2006, aged 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Joan, much loved father of John, Peter and David, loved by his three daughters-in-law and his eight grandchildren. Service at St. Gregory's Church, Bedale, North Yorkshire at 11.30 a.m. on September 11. No flowers, donations if wished to a charity of your choice.


HART - September 2, suddenly, of Heather Lane, Crook. John Richard (Jack), aged 78 years, cherished husband of Sheila, fantastic dad of Gillian and Jacqueline, adored grandpa to Jennifer, Sarah, Michael and Christina, respected father-in-law to Andrew and Adrian, also a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to all. Will friends please meet for service in St. Catherine's Church, Crook at 1.00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Donations if so desired may be given for the British Heart Foundation.


HODGSON - (Northallerton) September 7. Mavis, (nee Whiteley). Dear wife of the late Ken and a loving mother. Cremation at Darlington for family and close friends on Tuesday September 12, at 9.45 a.m. followed by a service of thanksgiving in Northallerton Methodist Church at 10.30 a.m. Donation for The Multiple Sclerosis Society.


HODGSON - August 31 (in hospital), of West Cornforth. Catherine aged 78 years, beloved wife of the late George, a much loved mother of David and a dear gran, sister and auntie. Would friends please meet for service in the Salvation Army Citadel, West Cornforth on Friday, September 8 at 2.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu for the Salvation Army, West Cornforth.


HOOTON - Yvonne September 1, 2006. Peacefully, at The Promenade Residential Home, Hornsea, (late of Catterick). Beloved wife of the late Col. Donald Hooton, much loved mum of Stuart, Jim and Bob. Funeral service and interment at The Village Cemetery, Catterick, North Yorkshire, 2.00 p.m. Monday September 11.

Joyce (nee Bell), beloved wife of the late William, devoted mother of June, dear mother-in-law of the late Robert, (Bob Ainscough), much loved nana of Robert and Helen, loving great-nana to Jack, Emily and Michael, also dear sister of Barbara. Will friends please meet for service in St. Mark's Church, Eldon at 10.15 a.m. on Thursday September 14, followed by cremation at Darlington. Family flowers only, donations in lieu may be given for church funds.


HUNTER - Molly (Mary Millicent), aged 97 years, of The Terrace Care Home, Richmond on September 2, peacefully in hospital. Funeral service at St Mary's Church, Richmond on Friday, September 8 at 12.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. IVESON - Margaret Elizabeth (Bessie, nee Armstrong), late of Shotton Colliery. Died September 1, aged 82 years in Panarth Hospital, Cardiff. Wife of the late Ernie, dearly loved mother to Ken, John and Gwenda, mother-in-law to Betty, Valerie, and Geraint, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Michael (Mike), aged 58 years, beloved husband of Marian, devoted dad of Gemma and Nicola, dear step-father to Leigh and the late Richard, grandad to Ellie, also a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and son-in-law. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13 and afterwards at The Kings Lodge, Durham. Family flowers only please.
