Will friends please meet for service in St. James Church, Coundon at 12.30 p.m. on Monday, July 24, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be sent or given to the family for the P.D.S.A.


CHANDLER - July 15, suddenly at Aboyne. Elsie, aged 85 years, formerly of Newby, in Cleveland. Devoted wife of Herbert, much loved mother of Maurice, Tony, Christine and the late Bill, mother-in-law of Ann and Linda and dear nana of Helen, Hazel, Rachel, Richard, Andrew, Debbie and Matthew, great-grandma of Kimberley, Ross, Euan, Anna and Lucy. Funeral today, Aboyne, Scotland.

Leslie, aged 76 years, beloved husband of Joyce, a loving father of Ian, Susan, Valerie and Leslie, dear father-in-law to Susan, David and Darren and a dearly loved grandad. Will friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday July 20 at 11.15 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Stroke Unit at the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton.


CLARK - Mary Jane, aged 90 years, of Brandon Lodge, wife of the late James and a much loved mam, nanna and great-nanna. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Tuesday, July 25 at 2.00 p.m.


CONNOR - July 16 (peacefully, at home), of Morley House, Spring Hill, Darlington. Lol, aged 77 years, much loved husband to Edith, dearly loved brother to Rose, also a loving brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Funeral Monday, July 24. Would friends please meet 1.00 p.m. for service at St. Mark's Church, Darlington followed by interment in the North Cemetery, Darlington.


CORK - July 14 (peacefully, in St George's Hall, Middleton St George). Joyce, aged 71 years, a much loved wife of Tom, a loving and very special mother of Anne and David. Funeral to take place on Friday, July 21. Please meet for service 2.15 p.m. at Darlington Crematorium.


CROFT - David Remembrance is a golden chain death tries to break but all in vain; To have, to love and then to part is the greatest sorrow of one's heart. CROFT - Lt. David Francis RN. Operations Officer HMS Enterprise, formerly of Thirsk and Richmond, died tragically on June 9 aged 30 years. Beloved son of Eric and Barbara, dear brother of Joanne, loving uncle of Rebecca and a dear grandson. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Richmond on Friday July 21 at 12.00 noon, followed by cremation at Darlington. Friends please meet at the church. CROOKS - Florence, aged 92 years, of Ingleton, passed away peacefully on July 16 at Beaconsfield Court, Barnard Castle. Beloved wife of the late Joe, dear sister of Mary and the late Joe. Funeral service at St. John's Church, Ingleton on Friday, July 21 at 9.45 a.m., followed by cremation at Darling-ton. Friends please meet at the Church.

DAGGETT - Norman Peacefully, in hospital on July 12, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness bravely borne. Norman, aged 83 years. The dearly loved husband of the late Nan, beloved father of the late Ernest James, much loved father-in-law of Christine, loving grandad to Vicky and Robert. Funeral service to take place at St. Peter's Church, Wolviston on Friday July 21, at 2.15 p.m. prior to cremation in Hartlepool Crematorium at 3.00 p.m., afterwards at The Eden Arms Hotel. At Peace with Nan and Ernest.


DAVIS - Margaret On July 14, peacefully in Belmont Grange Nursing Home (formerly of Gilesgate Moor). Margaret (nee Armstrong), aged 82 years, loving wife of John, loved mam of Joan and George, loved nana of her grandchildren, Helena, Karla, Marc and Christopher and loved mother-in-law of John. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest at Stuart Wright Funeral Services, 23 Marshall Terrace, Gilesgate Durham. At Peace. Sadly missed by all who loved her. Family and friends please meet for service at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Belmont at 11.15 a.m., then Durham Crematorium at 12.00 noon on Thursday, July 20. All friends and family welcome back to Mount Oswald Manor for refreshments.

Marcus, aged 36 years, devoted partner to Angela, proud dad of Hayden, Marcus and Conner, treasured son of Austin and Joan, dearest brother to Jason and Alison, also a much loved uncle, nephew and cousin. Will friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church at 2.20 p.m on Thursday, July 20, followed by interment in West Auckland Cemetery. Flowers may be sent or, if preferred, a donation for the Marie Curie nurses may be left at The Blacksmiths Arms, Spring Gardens where all are invited after this service for refreshment.

Mary, aged 87 years, beloved wife of the late Ike, dear mam of Marion and Pat, also mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Much loved by everyone.


HOLT - (nee Young) July 16 (peacefully, in Bethany House, Newton Aycliffe). Jane Ann (Jenny), aged 74 years, beloved wife of the late George, loving mam of Sylvia, Carol, Irene, Alan and Richard, also a much loved sister, mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. The funeral service will take place on Friday, July 21 11.30 a.m. at St. Clare's Church, prior to interment in Stephenson Way Cemetery. Floral tributes may be sent to John Meynell Funeral Service, Stephenson Way, Newton Aycliffe.
