Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Thursday, July 13 at 1.30 p.m., afterwards all welcome to the Kings Lodge Hotel, Waddington Street, Durham for refreshments. No flowers please. Donations in lieu if desired to Friends of Durham Hospitals c/o Mrs V. Richardson, 35 Durham Moor Crescent, Durham.

Ellen (Ella), aged 92 years, beloved wife of the late Harry and a dearly loved mother, grandma and great-grandma to all the family. Friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Bede's R.C. Church, Sacriston on Thursday, July 13 at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment in the Church yard.


BONNER - July 12 (in Sandringham Care Home), formerly of Spennymoor. Glenville (Glen), aged 92 years, a much loved uncle and great-uncle. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 18 12.00 noon at Durham Crematorium. Friends welcome.

Annie Mary, aged 82 years, beloved wife of the late John William, loving mum of Martin, Alan and the late Harry, also a dear mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service to be held at St. Patrick's Church Patrick Brompton on Monday, July 17 at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment at Crakehall Cemetery.


BUCK - July 12, suddenly, at Stonegarth, Bainbridge. Anthony (Tony), aged 74 years, dear husband of Joan, much loved father of Deborah, Wendy and Michael and a very dear father-in-law and gran-dad. At his own request a private family funeral service will be held at Darlington Crematorium. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, for either Childline or Bainbridge School P.T.A. c/o Sanderson and Co., Funeral Directors, St. Matthew's Works, Leyburn, North Yorks DL8 5EG. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends, especially Rusty.

Beloved son of Eric and Barbara, dear brother of Joanne, loving uncle of Rebecca and a dear grandson. Ernie, aged 98 years, of Newton Aycliffe, a beloved husband of the late Alice, a dearly loved dad of Alan and the late Brian, also father-in-law of Dawn and Joan. Will be greatly missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral to take place on Wednesday, July 19. Would friends please meet 11.15 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium.


EDMONDSON - Noel, in his 86th year, formerly or Ravensworth and Skeeby, died peacefully in hospital on July 10. Beloved husband of the late Rhoda, much loved dad of Jeffrey and Shelagh, dear father-in-law to Sylvia and Trevor, loving grandad of Mark, Joanne, Emma and Andrew and dearest brother to Winnie, Dennis and the late Viviene. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Monday July 17 at 10.45 a.m. Friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations may be given on the plate provided at the Crematorium for the Alzheimers Society (Richmondshire).


FALLON - Gordon, aged 68 years, passed away suddenly at home in Witton-le-Wear on July 12, after a long illness. Dear son of the late William and Evelyn, dearest brother of Audrey, Patricia, Judith and the late Dennis and Keith, a treasured uncle of Tony, Lynn and Leanne, who will be sadly missed by all his nephews and nieces. Will friends please meet for service in Witton-le-Wear Methodist Chapel at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, followed by interment in Witton-le-Wear Cemetery. Sadly missed and always remembered.

Catherine aged 94 years, beloved wife of the late Norman, dear sister of the late Betsy, also a much loved cousin of Joan, Pat and Brian. Funeral service to take place Wednesday at Thornley Methodist Church at 1.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Re-united with loved ones.

Cortege to leave her son's residence for service in St. Andrew's Methodist Church, Dawson Street, Crook at 11.00 a.m on Wednesday, July 19, followed by cremation at Durham. By request, family flowers only. Donations may, if desired, be left with the family or in church for Cancer Research U.K.
