Dearly beloved wife of the late Robert William, a devoted mother of Gordon and Raymond and a dear mother-in-law of Sue and Doreen, a much loved grandma of Sally, Julie, Alison and Helen, also a dear sister of Mary and Margaret. Cremation Tuesday July 11, at Durham following a service in The Methodist Church, Bowburn at 10.10 a.m. Friends please meet at church.


WOOD - July 6, suddenly, in hospital, of Langley Park Care Home. Muriel, aged 84 years, beloved wife of the late Lawrence. Will be sadly missed by all her family and staff at Langley Park Care Home. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday July 12 at 11.00 a.m.


WOOD - June 28, (late of Wingate). Ronald Foster Wood (Ronnie), aged 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Lena, much loved dad of Barbara and Lilian, father-in-law of Mick and Herbie, also a devoted grandad and great-grandad. Cortege leaving residence on Thursday at 12.40 p.m. Friends please meet for service at Holy Trinity Church, Wingate at 1.00 p.m. followed by cremation service at Durham Crematorium.

Service to take place at Darlington Crematorium 11.15 a.m.


BAILLIE - June 24, of Twinsburn Close, Heighington. William Brian Baxter, aged 72 years, dearly loved husband of Joan, loving dad of Joanne, much loved grandpa of Maxine. Funeral Wednesday. BARKER - June 25, after a long illness, of Coxhoe. Margaret, aged 48 years, devoted wife of Alan, loving mother of Marie and Danielle and a cherished daughter of Margaret. Friends please meet for service at St. Mary's Church, Coxhoe on Thursday, June 29 at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in Bowburn Cemetery. By request, please do not wear Black clothing. All are welcome afterwards for refreshments at Coxhoe W.M.C.

Joan, aged 75 years, dearly loved sister of the late John, Mary, Jenny, Biddy, Nancy, Winnie, Tucker and Harry (last one to return home) and also a much loved aunt, great-aunt and sister-in-law. Cremation Durham Crematorium Thursday, June 29. Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service in Thornley R.C. BEECH - Mary (nee Dent), aged 90 years, formerly of Richmond, died peacefully at the Abbey Care Village, Scorton on June 24. Beloved wife of the late Thomas and a very dear aunt and great-aunt. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday, July 4 at 2.15 p.m. Friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations may be given on the plate provided at the Crematorium Chapel for the Alzheimers Society (Richmondshire).


BENTLEY - June 27 (in hospital). Olive, aged 77 years, of Newton Aycliffe. A loving daughter of the late Thomas and Olive, a dear sister of Olga, Percy and Eileen, also a much loved auntie and great-auntie. Funeral Wednesday July 5. Would friends please meet 10.15 a.m. for service at Neville Parade Methodist Church, prior to cremation at Darlington.


BIRD - Sarah Newton A Memorial Service to give thanks for the life of Sarah, of Naisberry Farm, Elwick will take place at 11.00 a.m. on Saturday, July 1 at St. Mary Magdalene Church Hart Village. All family and friends welcome.


BLACKBOURN - June 27, suddenly at home, in Escomb. Eric Thomas, aged 85 years, beloved husband of Marjorie, devoted dad of James, Gary and John, a dear father-in-law, also a much loved and loving grandad. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 3.30 p.m. on Friday, June 30. Family flowers only. Donations may, if desired, be left at the crematorium for Escomb Saxon Church.


BOON - June 24, suddenly at home, of Paragon Street, Stanhope. Kevin, dearest son of Mary. Will friends please meet for service in St. Thomas' Church, Stanhope on Friday, June 30 at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment. If so desired, donations in lieu of flowers, for Insulin Pumps for Children, to Dr. Lamb, c/o Pat Percival, 64 Ashcroft, Stanhope.


BRANTHWAITE - June 28, (suddenly, at home). Rita Mary (nee Murphy), aged 79 years, of Newton Aycliffe. Beloved wife of the late Jack, loving mother of John and Anne, mother-in-law of Joanne, also nana to Lee, Chloe, Matthew and Dean. Requiem Mass to take place on Wednesday July 5, 1.15 p.m. at St Mary's R.C. Church, Newton Aycliffe, prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. Friends invited please meet at the church. R.I.P.

Elizabeth Ann (nee Lee), aged 68 years, a loving mother of David, Ian and the late Trevor, dearest mother-in-law and a much loved nana and great-nana. Cortege leaving residence Monday at 11.50 am. Friends please meet at All Saints Church, Wheatley Hill for service at 12.00 noon, followed by cremation at Durham.
