BURLEIGH - April 12, of Helmsley Close Ferryhill. Malcolm, aged 56 years, dearly loved partner of Lisa, dear daddy of Emma and Jack, also a much loved son of George and Iris and dear brother of Martin, Neil and Audrey. Cortege leaving residence at 11.00 a.m. on Thursday, April 20 for service and committal at Durham Crematorium at 11.30 a.m.


CALVERT - On April 10 (tragically), of 24 Alexandra Way, Richmond and also of Hazel Brow, Low Row. Richard, aged 26 years, dearly loved son of David and Catherine, loving brother of Ruth, Andrew and Beth and treasured grandson of Mary and Marion. A private family committal will be held at Darlington Crematorium, however, a Service of Thanksgiving for Richard's life will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Melbecks, Low Row on Wednesday, April 19 at 2.00 p.m. to which everyone is very welcome. Informal dress optional.


CARMAN - On April 9 (peacefully at home), of Kinley Road, Carrville. John, aged 78 years, beloved husband of Betty, devoted dad of David and Kathryn, a sadly missed father-in-law of Sharon and Michael, also a treasured grandad of Helen, Rachel, Michael and Shauna. Would friends please meet for service at Parkinson Memorial Church, Sherburn Village on Tuesday, April 18 at 10.00 a.m., prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers to Parkinson Memorial Church Funds.

Laura, aged 75 years, devoted wife of the late James, a much loved and loving mam, mother-in-law, nana and great-nana, also a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. A service will be held in Durham Crematorium at 3.00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19.


GREENWOOD - Elizabeth Hannah, aged 95 years, passed away peacefully in hospital on April 9. Burial 10.00 a.m. North Cemetery, Darlington on Thursday, April 13. Afternoon Tea for friends at Oban Court.


GREGORY - Edith May (nee Garbutt) aged 87 years, of Melsonby, died peacefully at Maple Lodge Nursing Home, Scotton on April 11. Beloved wife of the late Arthur, a much loved mother and mother-in-law and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday, April 20 at 11.15 am. Friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel. Family flowers only please, if desired donations may be given on the plate provided at the Crematorium for Maple Lodge Residents' Fund.
